man i wish. but sadly no. when they say they are "not close to release" it means more then a few months at least. i WISH i was wrong but with all these changes and all the systems still being worked out its just not coming out in Q1 anymore

Blizzard tends to announce the release before the game is done, but near finished, which is the 2 month grace period, I think we will be seeing the anouncement on Feb 9th with the conference call.
guys it wont be out in the summer, MoP is due in the summer, if its not out before MoP, then it wont eb out till a Quater after that, so oct or nov
but it wont be, it will be out in this quater, maybe april (yes april is start of Q2)
dont fret my children, the shareholders meeting is soon, we have a 80% of knowing all before or just after then
if D3 gets delayed to where its really close to MoP then MoP will be delayed not D3. they would never skip over D3 and just release the MoP beta. but ya i agree itll be out before summer.

i think its funny that people are saying Q3-Q4 and omg its another delay. where in that article of updates did ANYONE say ANYTHING about a delay? no where, "early 2012" is STILL officially the release window they are shooting for and until they officially say otherwise it didnt change. all the updates are about to be implemented in the beta and the only thing left to do is tweak the skill system. with the next couple months spent soley on the skills i dont see it taking another 5 months. lol
we will all see february 9th at the conference call that the window has not been moved.

As you all know, the release date is pretty hard to guess.
There are several predictions i have made according to recent (or not so recent) events. The first one, the wow annual pass. Obviously Blizz is trying to make money with that, players in wow are decreasing over time... (In my opinion they will regain the sales after MoP, but whatever). We all know Blizz is a company, and a company's goal is to basically earn money, if they want to keep us waiting for the simple fact of earning money, they perfectly can.
Another thing which made diablo 3 fans like me think it was going for long was that they were hiring someone to help out with the development of diablo 3. I decided to search clues throughout internet until I found out that the fact that they were looking for someone was only because Steve Parker left Blizzard and they were looking for a replacement...
The third thing I want to make stand out is that, as most of you know, there is going to be a great meeting on february 8th, or 7th can't really remember. I'm hoping for a release date being announced, because I can't stand it anymore! There is no way of knowing the exact release date but if I had to predict one today, it would be around the end of March / beginnings of April.
For the love of god Blizz announce it soon! Been waiting for like 1 year and still no game, and I am not the only person here, some people have been tracking the development of diablo 3 since 2008 when it was first announced! We're getting there people, I can smell it...

All the articles are globally released, meaning everyone is suppose to be the exact same. The difference is still there...so no early release for us?!?!?!

No problem mate, but I didn't want to be "arithmetically correct" I added them separetely, one by one, like "(9 + 9) / (2 + 2)" , not as 2 fractions heheh

Any chance blizzard will make the beta open to all prior to the release date? Maybe change it to a demo format? Not actually sure of the difference, but i think they used a demo for diablo 2.
