I'm sick of WoW, their expansions, their players and its culture / impact on RPG gaming. If they announce/rave about another xpac i'm gonna be pissed....
I personally want to see some of the new HotS units, and maybe and announcement by blizzard saying they are brining the talisman back in since they are launching later.

They aren't gonna give everyone a beta key. They only gave out 1000 last year.. Actually they haven't given any of those out yet. If they did it this year they'd give out maybe another 1k but that's it.
Blizzcon ? The intro cinematic/trailer for sure. Possibly a more precise release windows, but I don't get hope up for that. Some other panels covering mechanics/art/sound ppl have already seen in the beta or even a cinematic panel for that just announced trailer
/agreed i think the CE a RANGE of when game will release and some kind of new cim that we all can take 1-6 months of speculation on....2 cinamas would b amazing
Blizzard is one of the FEW companys still out there that actually care about the quality they put out...Look at half the MMO's that come out these days.
Making quality products is NOT the only thing required of a great company. Blizz makes the best games in the biz, everyone in the WORLD knows that. However, Blizzard continues to be HORRID at marketing, PR, community management, and fan-base interlock.
Why is it the beta announcement didn't even make a blip at n4g.com? Why is there so much universal outrage when Blizzard botches their announcements? Put simply, they don't treat their customers well. But when your customer base is mainly young, socially inept males, who have no viable recourse for being repeatedly bitch-slapped by the Aspberger's syndrome kid that is Blizzard's HR/PR/Marketing department, they can get away with it. Barely.
Blizzcon? Yeah great, I'm just STOKED TO THE FING GILLS FOR THAT ONE. So lemme get this straight.. I have to pay craptons of money for a ticket and fly to California once a year just to suck on some informational table-scraps that can be gleaned from the forums? They don't even say anything at Blizzcon, they use the same politico say-nothing pablum as Bashiok and the rest of the blue forum trolls, with the only added benefit apparently being able to smell Jay Wilson's musk while gazing creepily at Mike Morhaime's unfortunate visage.
Blizzcon can suck it.
I'm grumpy.

Not much left to show at this years BlizzCon, honestly. They probably decided to push the release back a couple months because they were probably having a BlizzCon meeting and maybe they asked if the development team was comfortable with them announcing a release date there.
So, there will be a ton of WoW crap, some SC2 expansion stuff with a great GSL tournament, and then a PS3 demo of D3 that everyone will hate.
Diablo gets dumped on by the "Craft" brothers, once again.
"And of course, the beta key giveaways, which will probably be something like this..."
That picture made my night (I will try to re-enact this at Blizzcon if they do indeed hand out beta keys).
On topic, though:
There will be more talk about the next WoW expansion and also the SC2 expansion than D3.
Hit the nail on the head (in my opinion). My guess is that the D3 release date may be announced, even though it's only a month between now and Blizz con. The majority of the hype will be going into the WoW expansion, SC2 expansion, and possibly Titan unveiling. Given that most of the D3 game systems have been unveiled already, I doubt that they will have much else to talk about, in interest of keeping the actual game content a surprise.
Lately, they seem to announce full new games at the Worldwide Invitationals, so I don't expect Titan or any other new games announced at Blizzcon. Most likely the WoW expansion will be the big announcement with HotS as another focus. I don't think there will be anything big for Diablo 3. Just some minor announcements like people said (CE contents, class update changes, etc.) Release date is a possibility but seems to be less likely since they just announced the delay. I'm not sure they can make a decision that fast. They just announced a delay in September and only a month later they have to come up with a release date. Doesn't seem likely to me.
Ironically when blizzard merged with activision, people cried that activision would push blizzard to releasing games before they're done...
Now that this turns out to not be true, people cry that they wish activision pushed blizzard xD
Touche....I am ok with Blizzard waiting to release. Their games have longevity and its not 35hrs and done. D2 is still rather very playable but gross looking. If you slapped a paint job on D2, it would be one of the best games out IMO. I have waited 10 years, I can wait a few more months. Plus saves me money as I have kids and xmas is time for family, but after that...eff em...I am in my man cave loot whoring till I have Nuts are Indigo.

I agree that it's not 35hrs and done. In fact 95% of the games nowadays are 5hrs singleplayer and neverloginagainanddeletecausetoomuchhhdspace.
(not to mention it's pretty much the only Blizzard game people care about at the moment, unless they are big on e-sports).
10 million WoW players say otherwise. WoW still brings in the most money. It will always be their focus until that changes. I'm sure WoW has more panels than the other two games despite SC2 and D3 being more popularity among non-MMO players. They've also had 3, going on 4 expansions with most Blizzcons focused on the next WoW expansion. As much as I'm bored of WoW, there are 10 million other people who aren't, and they are paying for monthly subscriptions and ingame pets/mounts.
I'm just really hoping for some clarification on the Runestone system tbh.
Yes, same here. Seems like they are going with the random attunement system the announced a bit ago, since the unattuned runes are on the item page. I wonder if they will have affixes still...
Diablo III is a great deal more anticipated than WoW: Mists of Panderia.
Hello and welcome to another edition of WoW vs Diablo!
There is something people need to understand. WoW is an industry on itself. The earnings that Blizz make from WoW can keep all ActiBlizz, EA and Nintendo alive, if not for the expenses for all the servers, 300+ employees and huge tax issues with the US government.
There was an article a while ago on Kotaku which displayed earnings of a lot of video game companies and how much they profit from distributing on multiple consoles. Most companies averaged around $20 million. Some reached $50 million. Blizzard had $150 million. The closest to it was like 80 million or so. That was a month or so after SC2 launched, but I can't remember if recent game sales were included. I think they weren't. Can't seem to find that article right now, sadly. Also, those ammounts were for monthly sales.
D3 is more anticipated on these forums. But when Mists of Pandaria is announced... there will be chaos.
how can their not be chaos when were talking about oh so kwet little pandas!!!
But yeah we will have some BIG stuff on diablo 3... but there will also be some BIG stuff on wow. patch 4.3 along with a new exp.. thats massive news, and will be a very big part of blizzcon. Lets also not forget the upcoming sc2 expansions...this blizzcon is going to be packed with so many Announcements my heads already spinning.

I am starting to wonder if Mists of Pandaria is going to be the name of the Expansion, or the name of a patch.
Wasn't there another name floating around? If I remember correction, I don't think it sounded like an Expansion title either.
