bye bye diablo... good knowing you..and to the devs, a game with so much potential just because you are stuck ups and never listen to public you will lose the franchise...You all think you sold millions of copies because you created something beautiful! NO , you sold copies because fans were starving for new diablo but never thought it would suck this much....Copies sold vs twitch viewers ratio is probably the lowest in the gaming history along with no man's sky...

Not very good to advertise youtube/twitch and cry like that..
please remain here so i will remember what new generation of blizz fanboys look like. this gives me more reasons to not return again.
I'm 32 years old small man. And it is not fanboyism, its loyalty to a company that always provided me with over 15 years of gaming, support and honesty. If you have a problem go back to your LOL or your halfassed games that have been dropped support long ago and any update that comes is to sell you stuff that adds nothing but cosmetics to the game instead of making the game actually...you know...progress!
Bye. You will not be missed, noone misses the ungrateful whining kids.
And FYI, WoW costs you $13 monthly, so they have alot of reasons to push more and more content to keep players paying, what about Diablo? You bought the game and after that how much content were you given for free? How much more is coming? Ah... I though so. I respect the announcement meaning nothing to the player but to bash them for free content out of their own pockets to try and please fans that will never have to drop a cent on the game... as a developer myself, it is insulting. At least respect their effort even if it does nothing for you.
Well buddy, your main point is where you are wrong. Most of us were more than willing to pay for an expansion, as long as it brings new content. Something. I dont care about buying it as i happily bought the Collectors edition of both D3 and ROS. The thing is, there is nothing. If the problem is the money (kinda it is, there are more things involved though, "Activisiontrauma"), then just release something worthy and we will pay. That simple. But the game is dead, and it is a sad example of selfdeception how people can be satisfied wth this "new content". Yeah, im happy with the Necromancer, it was my fav class back then in D2 but, Anniversary of Blizzard, the only content you bring is only one character you have already designed and built, and you also need 6 more months to release it? Cmon guys, think it twice.
its only been 2 years in d3 and 2 this expansion. We waited 12 years between 2 and 3. What makes you think you will get a new game already ?
Because D1 and D2 were four years apart and the only reason for the huge gap between 2 and 3 was because it went through development hell after Blizz north got shut down and a bunch of employee's left blizzard.

They actually talked quite a bit about how the release of World of Warcraft was a MAJOR contributing factor to both Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 being delayed. They did not expect WoW to be the massive hit it became in such a short time. This required them to pull ALL RESOURCES from EVERY OTHER PROJECT and put them all on WoW to build more steady mainframe options for the insanely large population spike.
Basically, you are right, the past is not a good indicator of the future when looking at game releases.
