My personal belief is that they moved Jay Wilson to what he knows best...RTS, so I have my hopes for Warcraft 4, they already set the ground work for it, while also preping for the future of WoW.
We know we are getting a time skip (some 30 years) before we make it to Argus, thanks to the comic about Anduin Wrynn, I think that is where Warcraft 4 will come into play, it will be what makes Anduin Wrynn become the Warrior King he needs to be.

With SC2 dying down, and the team yoyoing back and forth with story features in WoW, I think it would be very beneficial to release a Warcraft 4.
But a few new engines recently were developed, so I do not see it being announced this year. Instead I predict a 2020 (posted this then read your comment try hard, great minds!!!) announcement of Warcraft 4, as it would take some 3-5 years to develop. If they have indeed started rendering and such, they could do a brief teaser announcement.
But that being said, Warcraft 4 is certainly coming in the future, that is assured.
i share the same hope about wc4, however i think they will squieze sc2 more before giving us wc4...About d4 or expantion , it is almost sure that we are either getting a huge patch or an expantion and no d4 imo.
I will admit, I missed that tidbit of information, however, July was not that long ago, between his time working on Diablo 3, and then moving on to the now cancelled/repurposed Titan/overwatch, he has had plenty of time to work on the unannounced rts that he was moved too some time ago.

i just wanted to share what game mode should blizzard bring to the table
so we all can stick to diablo 3 franchise longer then 5 days per season.
