I think we have a good game now but i agree we Bagstone the essence of the game is gone and they need to bring back loot grind. Poeple saying they dont whant a fest grind are maybe just not in the good game for them. Imagine that game with trading and they bring loot drop rate from vanilla diabl....remove free set and let them start drop at t6+. Remove the bloodshards and the cube abilities to make legendary from rare items or if you whnat to keep it make it cost x10 from what is cost now. But unfortunatly my faith is gone and i think d3 is dead.........RIP d3
I prefer currency farm...and hoping in rng/ item hunt/ trading/ build experimentation...than endless exping for main stat.
Well, there is nothing more boring than farming for mainstat. Even fishing is more enjoyable to me. The problem from design pov is other however: The moment you bring back the D2 drop rates and allow trading so the players can counter the luck variance, you bring botting and 3-rd party item selling back. What the last season has shown us is that Blizzard are NOT interested in banning the players anymore. So, if D2 drop rates are back we will have the same D2 trading simulator with D3 engine, because nobody will care about the botters. Some people will play it fair for a season or two, and when they see that the other are getting more items than them due to botting, they will either stop playing the game or become botters themselves (aka D2 scenario).
There is a solution involving trading based on special rules devaluing 3-rd party sites and combined with weekly ban-waves we could have a working D3 trading system with D2 item drop chances. However, banning the botters seems like a lot of work aka Blizzard are not interested in such scenario.
I respect the way yuo see the game and i respect the fact you like the game as it is now.......but #1 i did never ask to remove everything.....in fact the looting system is worst and worst since they release the game... #2 yes i had considered that d3 is not a game for me anymore thats why the last time i played was in season 6....but ,y love for the diablo franchise is not gone and thats why i would like them to fix the game lol!.....But its all good....i can whait for d4 release even if its only in ten years from now...im pretty sure they will not make the same mistake(finger crossed) and for now there are tons of good game outside :).....On this have a nice day and i wish you the best for D3

But, there could be another way to stop the botters by going 64-bit only. Right now the client on the PTR has both a 32-bit and 64-bit options. By going 64-bit only there will be no botters and we could have the D2 type of trading back - us mvp TheTias explains why this is so. I doubt Blizzard will make a 64-bit only client in China, but maybe after some years this could happen for the other regions. They will lose some percent of the players, which can not make the transition to 64, but they will gain a lot more players if they announce a bot-free game with trading back.
I've made similar poll on russian diablo forum. 300 people voted so far. The most important aspect is LOOT. On the second place: battle mechanics, skill system, atmosphere. On the 3rd place - Endgame. Outsiders are: Graphics/engine, monsters, enemies, characters, multiplayer, balanced randomization.

For me:
1 - Loot
2 - Dark atmosphere
3 - The Grind (which for me is tied to loot)
4 - Did I mention loot yet? I just want more of it! More unique versions of it! MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!
