Hey,
This is not one of those beta QQ. I am just simply saying why not open the beta a little more to find and debug all these things faster? I'm not saying completely open the beta just a little more then nw to move the beta/game ahead>
What do you guys think? You think it would speed the precess up? they get more feed back on the same things kinda thing?
Who knows...
You only have so many resources to fix bugs. You want to get to the point where you are running out of things to fix before you open it up more. If they open it up to find bugs faster, what will happen is everyone will report the same bug over and over and over...like what happened with the public games. Then, they will have to take that out so that they can fix it and get feedback on other things.
They don't need thousands more people reporting the same bugs. Eventually all that will hopefully be left are smaller bugs that are much harder to find so adding more people would be helpful. If anything the closed public beta is just to stress test servers. We'll probably be let in so late in beta development that our non-bug related feedback will be largely ignored (just like all the WoW betas I've been in...if you got into the beta late...you never saw any changes or blue posts on feedback topics)

The D3 beta is NOT focused on bugs. Yes a beta is for bugs but It's mainly focused on server stability, blizz has said this over and over. They CAN'T open it up to more people otherwise the servers will overload because it's a brand New system. There for they will not have an open beta until right before release (maybe) to test high traffic before release. Other then that, they wont invite More then needed.
The F&F testers are already reporting the same bugs over and over again (take a look in the blue posts). So it's not necessary to let more people into the beta. Yes more people will strain the servers more effectively (in respect to testing the strain of it), but the closed beta haven't even started yet and most of the bugs have already been reported.
