I will surely make at least 2 of each classes. 5 primary, 5 hardcore of each class and, if Blizz decide to expand the slots - just more classes to play the single player game. I'd do the later thing because at some points Blizz will add new content, but most, if not all of my chars will be level 60 and the content will be low level and... lame for them. Making a new char to experience the new content is the proper thing to do for me.
i was going to do the same at first, but then i decided to make HC charecters with more appropriate genders as they seem to me and the crappy ones for SC. and for me: male Barb, WD, monk, and female Wizard, DH should be HC.
EDIT: i was thinking now why would i play SC anyway? i wasn't sure at first if i'd like to complete the game at SC first just to know what wxpect from bosses/monsters but now i know i will play HC right from the start. So i will create both male and female just in case i need for thatn 5 heroes to play with different friends together..
At first, I wanted to have 2 of each classes (both sex) just to see the differences in their (back)stories, but now I hear both genders of each class will have the same story, maybe except for Barb.
I'll probably still do 2 of each though, and certain ones may be hardcore.
I was planning to make 2 of each class, just to have both sexes. But I also want to play hardcore, and possibly even create PvP chars that specialize at certain level ranges.
I havent been following along like I probably should have, but what about muling?
I had to have 7 accounts in diablo 2 just to create enough characters to hold my set and unique loot, will I be able to create multiple accounts with the same CD like in D2 (although it had a low number of chars per account, you could in effect create enough chars to hold all your stuff from just your single CD key)
My fear is no, and that Bliz saw on opportunity to squeeze more money out of customers by making inventory space something we can no longer have for free.
(This worry is based on the way Bliz chose to implement its DRM on SC2, allowing only one account in battle.net and playing SC2 directly from that as opposed to allowing your DRM'd account to create multiple game accounts, which would still protect them via DRM)
Doubtful. I usually try and stick with one character class until I max it out. To be honest I don't see myself playing anything besides a Demon Hunter for quite some time.
Of course I will, how else will I be able to explore all the new random event stuff

Currently, I'm planning on making one of each class for both normal and hardcore modes. That fills up the 10 slots perfectly. Hopefully if they add new classes later, they will have new character slots. If not, I would probably just delete my most neglected hardcore character. I wouldn't mind paying for more character slots to maintain the 2 characters per class though.
To start with I will be playing Monk. Whenever I get bored, I will play the other characters but most times I will play monk. Also, I won't be rushing to get the best gear. I'll probably be more interested in getting each normal mode class to 60 before I get into farming gear.
Ha. Bagstone.
ladies and men
the ladies are hardcore
and the men are soft

Does anyone know the answer to this yet?
