dude GREAT work, tyvm =D DH tier 12 looks like a diablo helm =) But DH T16 looks the most kickass for DH atm, I mean hell, a black / gold hood with wings on one shoulder? Ima soo stoked
You mean wings on both shoulders? I'm pretty sure and correct me if I'm wrong, but all shoulder pads are symmetrical aren't they?
Also, does anyone notice that some of the materials of armor carry over to two or more classes, where others are totally different? e.g. Barabarian tier 12, DH tier 12 and WD tier 12 are obviously the same type, but aren't similar to any other tier 12's on the other classes. Same with tier 15 on Monk and Wizard ( the cat eyes on the armor give it away). I wonder why this is? I have no complaint about it, just curious.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot to add that tier 17 looks similar across the board as well. Except on the Wizard.
You guys know why the gear looks badass? Coz I haven't even look at it yet and I can already tell its badass. Must.........resist......temptation..........

I love all loot fest kind of game! I will be playing all of them for the next few years. Loot fest games I'm looking forward to: LotR: War in the North,Torchlight 2,Borderlands 2 and of course Diablo 3.
Wonderful presentation! all the classes look beautiful, and I am more than pleased. I just am glad that there are sets in the top 3 tiers that I like for every class (I don't like the final tier but it still looks amazing) Anyone else going to have a character geared in non top tier gear just because they like the look? I definitely will have one like this (tier 6 Doc comes to mind).
anyway great work again!

If that made sense to you, Bravo! I think I even confused myself...
So if in inferno drops only level 16 & 17 tier items, then ever high-end char gonna look the same. And you find that cool...?
I mean this system is good when you are playing game for the first time, but when you play a lot of time in inferno then it will going to be pretty boring imo. And yeah, I know about dyes.
From what I've seen high-end item selection in D2 > D3.
Looks like he got a little retard in him. You simple, boy?
Yeh, for me specifically I want to see how 'infernal' (I think that's what it's called) and the invisible dyes both work. By the way, raptorbonz where did you get that avatar?
i like barb 5, 7, 11, & 14. i like dh 6, 10, 12, & 15. i like monk 13-16. i like wd 4-8, 10, & 13-15. i would like to see the wizard's helm but i guess i can wait. i like the wizard's 13 & 15 armors right now. overall, i like the wd's armor best right now.
They definitely look different in a 3D model. For easy comparison, a few of these can be seen in the armor progression section of the character pages on the official D3 website. Have a look:

This is visual tier progression meaning that there should be overlap in high tier gear with any of the last 2-4 graphics at least and there was thought that they might add dyes which change the look of a piece of gear to a specific design. This in addition to uniques/legendaries/sets Which have their own art will make for the difference of appearance that you are looking for (hopefully)
Still want to see how dyes affect the armor. Would the whole armor be that particular color?
Not the whole armor specific areas as determined by blizzard artists to make sure looks great and there are no longer garish all lime green or what have you armors, but definitely still visible.
What happened to the barbarian awesome armor from the first gameplay video?
And why the hell does the barbarian gets "knight" looking armor?
Man, I'm not liking this one bit, concept art designs were amazing, I dont know why the went in a different way.
They sold us a barbarian-looking barbarian all of this years, and now we get god damn Lineage 2 armors..
Im very happy with the Demon Hunter ones.
DH: 10
Monk: 15
WD: 15/17 ( 15 = moving tentacles ftw )
Wizard: 14, if any?
I'm so god damn psyched about this game!!!!

And every belt but since not a single one has a belt im now assuming belts wont be part of the sets.
Edit: Link to all the images that these sets came from: http://diablo3dungeon.com/encyclopedia/Images/Belt
anyway great work again!

Barb: Shows numbers 1, 3, and 6
Demon Hunter: Shows 1, 2, and maybe 5
Monk: Shows 1, 4, and 6
Witch Doc: Shows 1, 5, and 6
Wizard:Shows 1, 3, and 6
I guess that as a side note, the pattern shows us that by the time you hit the 6th tier, you're already considered "fully armored" by the Blizz peeps.

Glad you like it! I got it here at the bottom of the page by saving the image and cropping it in paint. Simple yet effective!
