I sit here in stir while I frantically check my inbox, and sometimes think about "what if I don't make it in". I am unemployed and have no other desire to do anything but participate in Beta. I try not to think about it but I can't help but wonder.
What would some of you do if you were not chosen, how would you cope with it. Would you feel left out or even vexed about how much time you've put into reading the forums or watching all the videos, I know I would.
but on a serious note (well that was serious). I know at some point ill get in the beta, I doubt ill get in the first phase... I know im not that lucky. But I have a good few computers opted in from odd ranges..ect so maybe ill get lucky this time around. But it is indeed a fact we have to think about.
Lucky there will be so much information and videos flowing from this site, it will be just like being in the beta =P
I pretty much already have it set in my head that I'm not going to get into beta. I haven't ever gotten into a beta except for when I've pre-ordered and automatically get in.
So with my outlook, I'm never disappointed. Only happily surprised if I actually do get in.
First, I would find a job and become a productive member of society again. Then, I would realize that the game is likely out in December or January, so it doesn't really matter. After that, I would order some Diablo swag and play Diablo II or I, like any real "hardcore" Diablo fan would.
Damn I feel bad for you, you need to find a job instead of waiting for this game.
Especially since you are most likely not going to be invited in the Beta.
Spare me your pity. I made bank on my last job and I'm not hurting for money. I may be a little obsessed with Diablo but I know this is on everyone's mind and I'm just curious about everyone's thoughts.
I honestly wouldn't care, it's an unfinished product, subject to change and will probably not satisfy most people's expectations, since they'll just want more.

No the chat gem will increase the likely hood of getting the full game before it is released.

The real thing that worries me is this, what won't get done if I DO get into the beta?
My homework. Lol. Not good.
Especially since you are most likely not going to be invited in the Beta.
My suggestions.

Edit: or marry a Blizz emplyee
Well that's a hurtful opinion man, just because I don't have a job doesn't mean I'm not productive.
