Does anyone think that Tyreal will become evil at some point or another in Diablo III? I've always wondered what happened to him after he destroyed the stone at the end of act 4. I always imagined he would be struggling to stay good.
I don't think of Tyrael as either good or evil. He represents the angels, and thus order... but I think he's always been manipulating humans - even right from the days of the sin war - to lean them a step towards the pure stifling order of the angels, which I don't particularly see as the act of a truly good being.
I think Tyrael may have suffered some minor corruption, but I don't think it will change the way things play out all that much. I think we will most likely end up fighting against Tyrael, but not because of him going 'evil' but because of the angels trying to take advantage of the situation to either eradicate humanity or take control of us.
Tyrael is in no way evil, he is an angel and there ways are always about order. Tyrael is one of the few angels who have sympathy for mankind, tyrael went against the wishes of heaven and aided humans. He is in no way evil and that would be a lame story element if he was.

If you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last
By helping a neighbor
Or even a stranger
And to know who needs help
You need only just ask
we are coming to the point where humans will make the decision that Uldyssian earned the right for humanity to make - do we support the angels or demons, or do we decide to reject both.
I think that we'll reject both, and in doing so Tyrael shall turn on us as well, and we'll end up fighting Angels, Demons, etc. in order to earn our freedom... but that's just my belief.
