I see what you're trying to say. I think that when most people played through they got to level 10 when they beat the skeleton king. So obviously if you stay in the same area and just level up then you're going to be OP in that area.

In my humble opinion, wizard will easily be the majority's favourite class and the most common class online. It just has it all, with very few drawbacks.
Ever since the videos from the character selection came out, the Wizard has shot up in my playlist from being right near the bottom for the longest time. Alternatively, the Demon Hunter has dropped quite a bit after watching some of the streams.
I agree. I would always make a sorceress as my first ladder character. While I'm not going to say this video is conclusive, I'm OK with the game sticking to tradition. Despite the fact that sorc was usually the most viable class, I had plenty of fun with all the others. Game balance is overrated.
I was watching a lvl 13 monk stream earlier and all he did was dashing strike to get to each pack and then one crippling wave and everything was demolished. I think you gain power at a rate faster than linear so by the time you are lvl 13 everything is super weak.
The wizard out lvl'd and out geared the content. The skele king hit her for next to no damage, even after skin wore off. Even went through the trouble of showing us gear creation.

Now just keep in mind by the time you reach level 13 in the release version you'll be far past Act 1, so thus not so OP :P.
The part with the little fetish guys...so funny
But until then...MUAHAAHAHAHAH!!!
Anyone got a video for the other classes to compare?
I agree. I want to see a lvl 13 barbarian smash the little jiblets.
Now to compare that to a lvl 13 of all the other classes would be awesome.
