Hello, my friends. Stay awhile and listen! I'm the author and creator of the StormCraft Armies project, an RTS game, featuring playable factions from Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo universes in a single RTS environment, developed on the Starcraft 2 Engine. The project is 1.5 years in the development and 6 months in the open Beta. I won't really advertise here too much on what's going on on the Warcraft and Starcraft side of things, so, instead I'll go ahead and announce our first faction from Diablo universe, which is coming in a few months already!
Armies of Khanduras!
That's right! The undead forces of once powerful human kingdom of Khanduras joins the roster of StormCraft Armies factions as the first playable faction from Diablo universe. And that's not all! As per the Subfaction system, we will release Armies of Khanduras with 2 subfactions right from the start!
Now what exactly are subfactions? Subfactions in our project are different alternate variations of the factions from the main lore. Since, Diablo universe has only single timeline, unlike Warcraft universe, for instance, we will use Subfactions to present a canon version of the Faction as a subfaction and an alternate one from "alternate Diablo universe".
First subfaction is the "Legions of Skeleton King". Led by King Leoric you will take command of him as your Faction Leader and his relentless undead forces to crush your enemies under your tide of undead.

Second subfaction is the "Followers of Rathma" subfaction. Now this one is a bit tricky, in terms of lore, but I'll try to explain the subfaction. Necromancer Xul, being the hero that travelled to the Royal Crypts and having defeated the Skeleton King, soon found out that the vast undead armies of King Leoric could be dangerous to Sanctuary if left uncheked. At first his it seemed that only single option existed - destroy the undead. But then, seeing the darker and bigger threat looming in the horizon, he decided to use his necromantic powers to take control over the forces. Supported by the aid of his fellow Necromancers - the legendary Priests of Rathma, Xul raised an undead army, which would stand guard to the world of Sanctuary as it's silent watchers.

That's it for the faction and it's 2 subfactions. I hope you enjoyed the basic concept of the faction and the idea of the project. Now, please, keep in mind, that the unit and building list for each subfaction may be changed throughout the development, but I'm confident enough that the changes would be minimal at this point, to post them here.
