I don't know how much longer I can hold it actually. Seriously, I'm gonna explode like a damn Coca-Cola bottle injected with mentiods in the ass end of the bottle.

"The righteous shall fall before the wicked, and all of Creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell."
I dont think the sky is falling, anyone is a shitty writer, or diablo 3 is going to suck. I think everyone's on edge cause big news is about to hit and i'm sure afterward everyone will be fine. The people saying they'll "quit if blizzard does (X) with diablo3" will be there at day 1 just like the anti modern warfare 2 crowd, and i think everything will end up okay.
I went to the thread over at incgamers and this thread vastly over-dramatizes it. It's basically 6 people arguing over one post that flux made that was a legitimate post, and all of a sudden the sky is falling. My 2 cents.
Yeeeaaa I'm not worried I mean come on blizzard has the best games out there and there is a reason for that. People are just thinking to much into every little word people say and that's when the trolls flurish
This has turned from stop worrying, to worrying. Pathetic the amount of worriment going on. It'll come just be patient and it will come. You don't have to worry, because you'll prob end up hating/liking/loving something about this game. I love runestones, hate CD's, just me but either way i'm first in line for my CE edition.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
Nothing against Flux, but i think he is too much of a troll. Tbh i kinda agree with many things he say (i might be the number one demon hunter hater on this site) but the way he say things is terrible. He just destroy the reputation of people that are not allways happy with some blizz decisions.
Well, i'm pretty sure theres nothing to fear about.
I've been around long before the announcement of this game and still here after. Every change the development team has implemented, I had a sour taste in my mouth. But they do a good job explaining why they make these changes and ultimately I begin to understand, and embrace what they are trying to accomplish. Such goes for any further changes. Blizzard is out to dominate the ARPG market, and will take the time and resources available to get it right so that it happens.
Gameplay first at Blizzard, and I totally agree with that. I want to have the best damn experience I can in my favorite video game franchise for years to come. So let the changes come.
I stopped going to that damn forum because the stupid thing wouldnt let me register, I dont even remember what the problem was now my ''email doesnt exist'' or some BS.
that being said it just occurred to me, will that be one of the sites to maybe get Beta keys on? o.o or should I just rely on face book or something?
I bitch about it a lot lately but I seriously cannot understand it at all. It just looks bloody awful. It looks like an old arcade game mechanic. I think we'll know just fine we're hitting our target without it. Once I know that it's either gone or it's something you can toggle on and off I promise to shut the hell up about it.
The white flash bothers me, and so does the thickness of the red outline when targeting baddies. I want an option in the gameplay menu that lets me choose how thick I want it with a scrolling bar, or ultimately, to turn it off altogether.
I like the white flash. The skills really need to show a impact in monsters, or else they will feel bland and lifeless (like wow skills). One way to add an good feeling of impact, when you hit a skill, is making this kind of effect.
2:34 shows the WD's zombie charger skill in an PvP match against a wizard. It seens that the white flash is not working for some reason. The result is that noone can tell when the bears hit the wizard or not. It's terrible. Without any impact effect the skill looks so powerless !

...of course they need an impact effect.... but it doesn't have to be a white flash.
In PvP it makes some sense. Just some. Cause the objective is to win over the other human player so these battles are always gonna be fast paced and it will just help players keep track of the damage they're doing in a rushed battle.
But in PvE it's really not necessary at all. It's an arbitrary flash of white. If I'm hitting an enemy with fire, let them smoke and be on fire, if I'm hitting them with ice, show ice effects while having them slow down from the cold, or if it's just a regular weapon even, show blood gushing out from the impact not just some arcade looking flash of white. And it's not like you're gonna miss (unless your AR isn't high enough) so much that you'll have to wonder if you're ever hitting the monster.
You know what it reminds me of? The way things flash in Altered Beast. Especially when you're fighting the bosses. They just flash this red or white color to indicate taking damage. It's just primitive, man.

TLDR: Its okay, don't panic!
I hate Flux.

Yeah, I'm awaiting an explanation for that.
