"I'm baffled by this guy" - from Limitless the movie
The events that will unfold in Blizzcon 2011 will be determined by what happens in May 5th Conference Call.
If the Beta were to be launched after a week or 2 after the May conference call, we'll be in pretty good shape to hear a firm release date of Diablo 3 in Blizzcon 2011. If not, I'm afraid all we're going to hear is Jay Wilson's famous quote.
"We're not done yet, and we'll let you know when we're done".
Or at most, we'll be lucky to hear a "beta" date. What do you guys think?
Jay wilson going to pull another "We're not done yet?"
How will you react this time? as suppose to the last blizzcon?
Personally, I am running out of patience, and it's very sad to see me this way over a game...
You guys?
Blizzcon Attendees > Security Guards
Sure there can be rage built up when Jay drops his usual "Guess what, No beta this year"
And people may start climbing the stage and show em what real hell is.
On a serious note, there will just be 1 hour long of "BOOOOOOOO"
You are now officially a bigger source of negativity than me.

i second that.
And i'm pretty sure they won't be talking about the beta in BlizzCon. It will begin long before that. BlizzCon will be about a release date.
This. Including the negativity part..
As for my own two cents, I expect to be playing Diablo 3 starting 2012 Q1-Q2. After if you really think about it, most Betas lead to some small polish and balance, than the game gets release. The thing is with Diablo 3 it it's so god darn complex and big compared to other games that I'd bet the Beta will highlight some big flaws that they'll need to address.

A Post Concerning The Real-Money Auction House:
"Except real money trading has always been present in Diablo 2. Except now it's going to be officially supported which will reduce scams, prevent the funding of the black market so your kids will no longer be exposed to dangerous life ruining drugs like the cancer causing marijuana."
I trust in Blizzard to release the game when it's ready, no sooner. They know all the people who say, "I'm not getting Diablo 3, it's been to long." are bluffing big time. Fact is all the topics on how it's already outdated, and how Blizzard is procrastinating are doing nothing but reinforcing the negative view on how prolonging the release will ruin the game for you in some ludicrous way.
It's done when it's done, and you'll love it all the same.
