No to Dragon. How would we fight the only dragon in the Diablo universe? If he's made of stars and "everything" is shown under his scales, from the past to the present to the future, then wouldn't fighting him be incredibly unrealistic, even from a fantasy world point of view?
But I think the Diablo world should have something to relate to Dragon. Not a dragon, but something big, bad and powerful to kill. Besides the Prime Evils, of course.
Then again, the "Sieger", or whatever was shown in the D3 Trailer vid, would it not show that they are capable of making epic boss fights and therefore they will have there own version of a "dragon" run, without the dragon of course, in mind?

It's all been said. The pun, the not so funny joke, the phrase, something about oneself, the not so random picture.
So just want to clarify with you DeathWingSC, you believe Trag'Oul does absolutely nothing no matter what or was that you agreeing with me? I said a cool cinematic and not a fight so you are agreeing in a sense. I see no problem with it really. Trag'Oul is the best way to show you how powerful you are, even though you can't beat him, his presence or interference in any way shows how powerful you are especially since Trag'Oul has never interfered before (in the games anyways).
P.S. Of course they're going to have big bad ass boss fights either way.
I suppose you could think of it as the very Earth itself stopping your next move that could fatally change EVERYTHING.
So yes if it isn't actually fighting him.
Then again, how could we stop any of the prime evils from seeing him? He tries as much as he can to avoid being known(apparently) and showing himself may make a new twist to an already twisted storyline... bah.

So, one thing I want to say is that Trag'Oul's description is more "dragon shaped" then "actual dragon." Similarly, the "dwarven star" could just mean "small star." It's possible that Dwarf just means small in Sanctuary, and has nothing to do with tiny miners. Also, it could mean the same thing it means in our world: short people. Like that serve guy in the intro movie from D2.
Back to fighting dragons...could it be possible that Trag'Oul has some sort of off spring or helpers that are dragon shaped, but not all powerful like, as he is?
Dwarf star is a real term for a star. It has nothing to do with little men with beards and hammers. Trag'Oul does interfere with his world, with himself, but sparingly. He does so in the books, I know. But I think it wouldn't make since to fight Trag'Oul. How do you fight the universe, and how do you do so and protect everything you fight for?
And, of course, he doesn't have a real body. Just little stars that represent people's souls. The reason I said the above is because I believe it's mentioned at some point that Sanctuary is in him, like we're in the Milky Way, but I guess that doesn't make much sense. It's been too long.
Dragon would seem out of place to me. It just doesn't seem to fit. Some kind of wyvern maybe, but not dragon. I'll be scratching my head even more than I already do.
I know everyone hates the thought of D3 being too much like other mmorpgs but .. Would it be cool if there were a dragon to kill in D3? ... I think it would lol
Diablo 1, 2, and nor will 3 are, or will be MMORPGs'...

The more precice term would be living dead or animated dead !
