I brought up this topic a long time ago and really got no answer on it. Any chance we are going to see capes/cloaks in D3? I think the barb/wiz would look alright in them but perhaps not so with the witch doctor and monk, maybe a third item type could be added, a scarf or sholl or something for them, on second thought maybe just cloaks that really don't add a visual changing appearance to the character but have added attribute/magical properties to them, otherwise we'll see everyone and their brother running around with the exact same rare cape on.
I'm just going to say that, I hate capes. They very rarely looks anything more than dumb on characters. I'm just so glad WoW had a way to hide yours, because while they had useful stats, at very best they just hid the interesting part of your character.
Anyway. I think they look dumb, quite simply. I've never seen any in D3 anywhere and I hope it stays that way.
Superman and Batman would but I don't think we'll be seeing them in Diablo 3.
I think there should be aesthetic customization. Capes are generally bad because the animation is difficult and never looks right. But I think that's something lacking from D2. If you wore a bone helm as a sorceress you looked funny, but there was nothing you could do to customize it so you invariably looked like an idiot. Some really good armors were purple, but I hate purple. Giving color variations or changing textures (tattoo's on skin, medals on armor) do not affect the 3d modeling or the animation.
Nothing is scarier than a tatted up Barbarian chick wearing pink.

But yea, there should be alot of types of capes so it will be good... I dono.
So I don't care...
I know what you mean, I sometimes where a cape to the club.

Bah they just to put this lack of stats distributed in others items...
ahahah, I'm asking the same question. Maybe flashing !! or when you make a fast 360 turn, the enemy's sword can stuck in the cape... loll
ahahaha and maybe a smoking pipe like sherlock homes like an easter eggs of Titan quest !!
