PvP will be handled through single and team dueling in Battle Arenas. Players will face each other and duel. A kill count at the end of the round will determine the winner.
It is still unknown how PvP will work in Hardcore.

No, those are both active and passive skills. The amount of passives and actives depend on the character. The Wizard has a lot of active spells compared to the Witch doctor who has a lot of passive skills.

There are no current public Betas.However, there is a beta option on Battle.net for Diablo III so we can assume there will be a public beta.
Update 11/5/2010 - At the 2010 Blizzcon, 1000 Beta keys were given out for Diablo III. However, there is no information currently on when the Beta will begin.

It is unknown how gold will be more viable right now. The only way that has been shown so far is with the addition of Bind on Equip items. The goal is to limit the amount of items flooding the market and make gold a medium for trade as oppose to items.
Update 11/5/2010 - The crafting system has been shown and will help create a better market by both being a viable gold sink as well as causing players to destroy more items to create others.

How will the serial-key system work? Will we be able to install Diablo multiple times (just like Diablo 2) for example: one for my desktop, and one for my laptop? Or will it be 1 Serial key per installment?
There has been no mention of skills of one class affecting the outcome or looks of another class. Due to any lack of information on this idea, I would say no.

Are there any FGT? How can be that lucky to get in (as experience I do have with D2 and several FGT and CB).
Are there cross-class skill effects (so, promoting groups)? (e.g. a Witch skill creates and effect that can boost the damage of Wizard or Barbarian, if successful hit while the effect is in place, ya know).
The party of 4 has anything to do with the fact that now are 4 known classes? Is so, if the 5th one will be confirmed, could we expect a party of 5?
For the FGT comment, I have no idea what FGT means. I assume you are asking about some beta and testing which has already been asked and answered.
For the party size question, this has already been answered and it has nothing to do with the amount of characters offered.

Yeah, we realized that binding is kind of a crappy way to pull items out of the economy. If you say that the average player produces 100 items an hour and maybe gets 1 upgrade in that time, then binding at best can account for removing 1% of items from the economy. And that's being very generous at high levels.
Binding isn't really substantial in making a viable economy, but it is really good at establishing item prestige. Which is how it's used in WoW.
We expect salvaging to be compelling enough to remove a good percentage of the most valuable items from the economy. High end components obtained from salvaging high end items are needed for high end crafting and enhancement.
We're not promising anything on patch content, but we also feel that keeping up on introducing new items consistently will keep it from being possible for a glut of the best items from building as 'the best' can be a constantly moving target.

It has been said that each class has a different beginning lore wise and this will be shown through an intro machinema video. As far as the actual game, no matter what class you play, everybody will start the game in the same place.

Yes. The attribute of Magic Find has been seen on items in gameplay footage from various events.
Dont forget, that based on the Demo played at Blizzcons, the Magic Find ability was given by shrines, and not gear.
This could change in the final release, but we havent received anymore info on this matter.
Perhaps this would be a good question for Bashiok?
