Right now im lookin into some new gaming peripherals for not only D3 but SCII and maybe even GW2 so id get the best of all genres maybe even WoW. So i'm thinking two mice buttons doesn't cut it for me anymore. i don't have enough keys on my board either and my desktop just isnt working as good traction for my mouse and the headset i have is practically in shambles and wasnt awsome to begin with.
Here's what im thinking about
Mouse: Logi G9X notice the X it goes up to 5k DPI as apposed to the G9 which only has 2k The Razer Mamba or the Razer Lachesis
Pad: SteelSeries Qck Heavy or + Razer destructor or magasoma or goliathus
Board: Saitek Eclipse II or Razer Lycosa
Game Pad: Logi G13
Headset: Razer Carcharias or Steelseries siberia in white
anything else i should look t for gaming peripherals i might want.

well 2k is becoming standard on almost all gaming mouses. were in the age of 4k-6k none have six k but im sure either razer or logi will break it soon the mambas boasting 5.6 and the g9x boasts 5k and the lachesis boast 4k and i like speedy movements so i think these suit me better although i like my current deathadder with 1.8k i still feel the ned to go faster

I have a Saitek Eclipse II and love it. Super sturdy and resistant. Planning to get a Razer Carcharias - all the reviews on it are glowing so far. Also probably skipping all of the mice you mentioned and going for the Logitech g500, it looks much better than the g9x. Don't like razer mice either.. stupid flashy toys with leds. Mice should all be like the mx518 and g5/g500.
Razers are nto toys my friend has a g5 and my deathadder right now destroys it. The feel is just so much better its really nice the glowing LED's are just their trademark its flare but its really good flare. Not to mention a 2 button mouse would not be good for WOW wow needs liek a kagillion buttons with all your skills. And sc2 would help having attack and move on my mouse instead of moving my fingers. T anyone saying this is all useless its not go to your friend who has some of these gaming gear things and theyll let you use them they feel and look better so much better nd not only that when you glide on a gaming pad its so much smoother better and you can make longerstrides on your XL pads and the keyboards are just awsome hyperresponse buttons and the fels are awsome some slick things and gamign headphones are a must if you talk you cant use ur shitty 1999 headphones for this because you need better sound quality and mic quality to hear your teammates and make sure they hear you. And the gaming pad is cuz i might need some macros it's subject to change though.

Gaming mice really are awesome, if you haven't got one yet and you do any sort of gaming I definitely recommend getting one. I notice the difference between my MX518 and this wireless Logitech set I got for Christmas (the only reason I switched was because it was a gift and I didn't want my parents to feel bad) in web browsing. I can barely play D2 anymore because I was so used to having a great mouse. I highly recommend the MX518, but I don't have anything to compare it to (I don't know any PC gamers). Keyboard wise, I hear that the Eclipse II is the best bang for your buck, I think I'll get that and take my old MX518 back from my brother's girlfriend's mother ( XD )and give them my wireless set. I also just got the Gamecom 367, don't get them, they're not too nice quality on input or output. I do hear a lot of people praising them though, maybe I got unlucky. My main complaint is the mic, it's bad to be honest, and that's the reason I decided to get a headset, as I have nice quality speakers. I don't notice much difference in mousepads, I just suggest getting the largest one you desk can handle.
Well what mousepad did you use cause i used a deathadder with a razer destructor and its one of the best and it glides at least an extra 50% with a flick of the wrist while on my desk it does 50% less than what it did on my old shitty generic mousepad.

Your monitor has a low response time and high screen lag its not good for games but the colors and everything is amazing its a great monitor for photo editing and image stuff. Not games. To be perfectly honest what do you need 2TB of HDD space for. I'm getting a new rig for 1k and its just as fast as your if not faster and im getting 500GBs. You dont need that much its just never gunna get used. And to your videcards you really odn't need to run sli or crossfire unless the game is that demanding crysis should run fine on medium or maybe max settings on a gtx 265 or a HD 4890. Your processor should be at least 2.5GHz dual core and your board should be able to take DDR3 ram dual channel so you can get the most aka 8 GB or 16 GB if you buy the kiningston 4GB sticks. Other than that you dont need a demanding cpu to play d3 itll be like running l4d or WAW. Not much too it really. That and SC are basically same level. so if thats all you get it for a 500 dollar dell will do.lol but obviously were not looking for those right?...right. To you mice preferance i just don't get why ppl hate on razer. The geel of one is like heaven putting a cloth under your hand. It feels so smooth and grippy yet not unwnted by my hnd. and they track better imo than logis. And keyboard they need to feel kinda like a lycosa i love the way my friends lycosa feels with the same material on their mice it just feels like heaven. I don't get why ppl hate on razer they are really good. especially the mamba with its 5.6k DPI =]

265 != 4890 buddy... My 4870 runs Crysis WARHEAD on max settings and 2x AA no AF and gets 31 FPS(33ish OC'd), I haven't benchmarked Crysis though.
sweet so my new rig wit a 4890 will do just fine see if you get anything pretty much 150$+ you'll run D3 max with 16xAA and AF. It shouldn't really be a demanding game but im going to play alot more games than just D3 so my comp will be demanding

Do you really notice the difference between 2k DPI and lets say 6k? I bet you only notice the difference minimally when you're playing shooters like CS.

actually try going from 400 to 2k then to a 5k mouse it feels so much diffrent either time you went up.and the diamond back is good one of my friends got it recentlly with a goliathus and a lycosa and he loves all fo em. Its supposed to be optimal with goliathus but i guess you can use any pad really. It sports a good 1.8k dpi. Very good mouse almost like a detahadder except ambidexterous

I actually have an old mouse that I started playing d1 with and am going to continue using just because I want to see how many clicks it takes to actually break one of these beasts.
Astion, you can notice the difference on anything, but it only makes a difference in games like cs.

Yeah you don't need a 5k dpi mouse for Diablo bu if you play FPS like i will then you'll need it if you go assault and for those who snipe 100 DPI for serious precision and control.

Stay awhile, and listen.
Mouse: G5 or MX518.
Keyboard: G11/G15 or Saitek Eclipse II(I personally don't need macro keys and this keyboard feels much better than the G11/G15, IMO).
