Ok... so I don't know if those icons are actually going to be used in D3, or if they are just being used for the website, but oh my god, they are taken DIRECTLY out of the warcraft games.
If they are actually being used in D3... then I'm going to miss the old gray and black icons for skills
And if they aren't going to be used, would you prefer coloured skill icons? Or the tried and true carved stone style ?

Eh, well they aren't that bad. Atleast they stayed relatively simple... and not all vibrant like warcraft. I'd be happy with that style, but would MUCH prefer the carved stone feel that the skill icons from the first two games had. They just added.... flavour :D.

It's not even an official site. Someone else just used the icons from WOW for their page to have a button. I do want more detailed skill icons but nothing to fancy. Just a little color like some dull browns reds and blacks.

Yeah i would also prefer the old carved stone but in D3 we will ahve a hot ba, wich requires colored icons.
I wouldn't mind the interface to be more stony, but I'm not really concerned with most of the icons (the frog does, indeed, look silly, but there are some silly DII icons, too...).
I think they're more Diablo appropriate now. Though I feel like from the berserker tree they used too much red, I get it barbarian, berserk, RAWR, but they need to vary it a little more.
Anyway, the art kinda reminds me of the front of the Sin War books for some reason.
Whoa, I've never even seen those ones yet. They look pretty amazing :D.
I'm glad they've kept it dark, oversaturated and vibrant icons just don't suit diablo

they'll never see me coming.. life is a sequence of tragedies, inconsistent only by fleeting, elusive moments of pleasure,
serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.

They just used those in the calculator as a place holder since we don't have access to the demo ones.
Though I would prefer some Diablo appropriate colored ones. I think it gives them more personality.

Some people are pretty gullible/naive....
Look at the bottom. That's what the icons look like. For a Witch Doctor. The plague of toads icon is adorable: a cute but diligent froggie.
Since there are apparently people who still haven't seen the announcement video.. watch it watch it watch it.
Then we all agree that the current icons should be changed for something better?
That is good.
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
I don't mind the icons (the real ones) much, maybe monochrome them a bit...

BTW, good thing you can actually look at you character and see what's going on when both tabs are opened.
Hmmm, where does the attributes page go? You know, character pane 'C'?

I think at WWI it went to the left. So probably still to the left.
Really they couldn't make these icons any LESS colorful if you ask me, without being black and white. Red and Blue are the only real colors I notice.
