How do you feel if Diablo 3's skill tree was made so you don't have to point in one skill to be able to put one in another. (example: corpse explosion needs a level 6 char and teeth to be able to put a skill point in it. How about just having it be available when you hit level 6 so you don't waist skill points on skills that you won't use.

i reckon tht what D3 could do is you get a list of skills to choose from lets say in total 50 skills all up. then as you upgrade you choose a skill but you can only learn a max of 10 skills then when u have learnt the 10 you want you just keep on upgradeing them as you upgrade

I never particularly liked this idea. They have this implemented into a lot of RPG games. I just find it rather annoying. As for the question above, I don't believe that skipping skills is a good idea. As Zonzer said, it takes away from choosing your path. Not only that but you wouldn't be limited to how you make your character. The way you suggest the trees means that you could have all the end tree skills if you wanted.
I love the D2 skill tree the way it was. No game has done it better before before or since.
I hope they don't change that. It was perfectly designed.
I agree, although it was kind of discouraging that the max level weak spells had basically no point later on.
Like if I was a frozen orb sorc, I max ice bolt, it then becomes useless after I get frozen orb. It costs less mana but it's not AoE and can't dish out the same amount of damage.

yes but you have to wait to you get to the char level that is need. i just thought that if they took out the Prerequisites. if you save all your skill points for the last skills then you will have a hard time getting through the game unless your char is a tank.

that's the problem, the system you're proposing encourages skill saving even more than D2 did. making you have to choose, do i want to struggle now or struggle later.
i agree wi mahamoti, i really like the skill trees that they have. But i hope skills go even higher than 30 to be able to use. Like lvl 50..but i doubt it.

I'd of liked for ice bolt to have had SOME point.
