Hey guys, I know there has been talk of D3 coming to the 360 and ps3, but this is all currently speculation...that being said, i was curious if it was at all confirmed or hinted by blizzard to be one way or the other.
What i am getting at is i know blizzard has commented on it, and from what i remember it sounded like they MIGHT do it...which personally SCARES ME TO DEATH (maybe not to death lol), because even though i am going to buy a 360, and i own a pc, i just think diablo needs to remain an exclusive pc game. simple as that. if some horrid idea happens in bringing it to consoles they better have it cross platform if at all possible.
In true Blizzard fashion, they have neither confirmed nor denied they will be putting D3, or any future Diablo title on a console, be it wii, PS3, 360, or otherwise.
Blizzard did merge with Activision though, and as Activision make many console games, I would assume this was done in part to allow Blizzard to gain a better standing in the console world. Starcraft: Ghost will be, once they pick it up again (it was never cancelled, just indefinitely postponed), Blizzard's first real console game. Sure Diablo, Warcraft II and Starcraft appeared on consoles, but for the most part they were direct conversions, not stand alone games or a truly made for console game.
I do not think Diablo 3 will appear on a console though, but I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard, along with the newly acquired Activision division (sometimes referred to as "Blizzard Console") produces some new console games, or works on finishing Starcraft: Ghost.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
