will i agree the game looks good but without some CARTONISH things like:
1-FANCY big shoulders armor
2-BAD inventory system
3-EXTERNAL and UN WELLCOMED BRIGHT COLORS in the DUNGEON
4-WOWISH like character designe
5-what really piss me off is THIS CUTE STATUE IN THE FEMALE BARBARIAN PIC. ON THE STAIRES IT IS REALLY REDICULAS look at its childlish (SCARY)smile iam really scared i dont know how to sleep from the moment i see it
but you know somting if blizzard are going to be this way to thire fans (or part of them)
i think i will go the RELOADED way when diablo 3 come out
HAPPY GAME MAKING BLIZZARD
yeah i agree with you on thoughs 5 points koroko, the cartoonish way they have built wow... i mean diablo3 my bad hard to determin which is which, really pisses me off, i hate cartoony looking hack and slashes just doesnt make it feel the same to me.'
Who knows maybe this is only one guys opinion and hes an idiot at that in my eyes, maybe or hopefully they will add more darkness to the game maybe they wont im hoping they do its typical blizzard here they care not of what fans want but what they want its been proven in other games.
SC they listened to the fans/korean market cause thats where they get most of their business from if they make sc2 a sht game from not taking what the fans say into consideration and they dont like it watch their sales plumet, just wish it was like this with all games.
Eh, well, I would have preferred a darker game, but if they really believe that this is the best direction, I'm willing to believe a multi-billion dollar company's word.
"the game was similar-looking to what fans of the old games might expect — darker, desaturated and a lot of brown and gray tones." -It was so obvious Blizzard opted for a entirely different art design wich is not in sync with Diablo. And everyone arguing "how wrong we are", "how dare we not trust Blizzard to stay close to the typical Diablo feel". Hahaha, its hard not to say "I told you so". "The first and second iterations of the art direction had a modern, gritty look but made it difficult to distinguish enemies from the environment." -No wonder why night looks like a fairly clouded rainy day. No wonder a badly lit dungeon is lit with a sourceless green light. No wonder it looks cartoonish when enemiesdo not blend into their surroundings -like they are supposed to-. "You need to be able to tell those things apart fast, and you can’t do that when your world is gray and your creatures are gray." -Purples on greens, here we come. Reds on blues, why not. Zombies can be well distinguished when placed into a bright lush forrest with a blue sky and a rainbow in the background, the more the better the merrier. There will be no dark creatures lurking and waiting in the dark for you. Hahaha.
I'm glad Blizzard came out and basically proved us right, although they still stand by their choices. Hahaha, all those people trying to disprove us, what a joke.
LOL. nice one. Completely owned.

If you get personally attacked by letters through the internet its a good thing to always have a box of tissues and a band-aid around.

White this isn't 4chan and I can't simply say "STFU newfag, GTFO"...I will state that his views are merely opinion, and not based in fact.
He's making hyperboles out of design choices that Blizzard has been spending plenty of time on simply because it's not the way HE would make the game look. And thank god he's not in charge.

It's time to welcome the other 80% of the color wheel to a Diablo game.
Ah doppelganger, thank you for reminding me why this game sucks WoW's cock atm, I thought I had forgotten.
Thankyou for reminding me why I dislike people like yourself. I am all for constructive criticism, but a lot of you guys have gone WAY beyond that now. Go play another game and stop your blatant overstatements and learn to carry yourself better.
Complaining will never stop, and certainly countless threads will be created mainly to flame and argue. If the ideas are constructive and non-bias, I would gladly support it. I support the idea of reducing shoulder armor size, and I support the idea of changing the color a little in some areas. However, lets keep the flaming/insulting down to a minimal, and show why "Little Kiddies" are not mature enough to play..........
There is obviously no going back for art direction since they made their decision very long ago before they could even design the classes and characters. It would take them more than a year to revamp the whoel art direction. However, I think they will satisfy the Diablo fans by showing us more areas of the sanctuary, and of course, places with more mutilated and dismembered bodies, Not to mention bigger, badder, scarier enemies.
AND for Krauser it is a shame that i will not play on the
Glorious Battle Net 3.0 err....ahem... i mean 2.0
so i wish you a Delicious BREAKFAST
EAT!!!
Oh, i hurt some peoples souls, its so melodramatic
You're not just a douche bag, you're also clueless on art and game design. Everyone knows it. You can't even argue without making everything a straw man argument - or it's just that you can't comprehend what people type. It's probably both.
Oh, goody! Now we can bitch about the "feel" of Diablo? The "feel" of Diablo is far less discernible in the gameplay video than any other aspect we encountered there. To begin with, in order to know how something feels, one must experience it firsthand. Another thing is that other aspects can alter the way the mind perceives the world around it - like music or other sounds. I'm not fretting much over this because it is a team effort, not just one person's idea of the way things should be. I also don't see where the graphics are ruining DIII, but that is my opinion. Whether the OVERALL demonic posture/feel of Diablo is still intact when they are done, and whether they have produced a game with few glitches and strong, differentiated characters are my foremost concerns. I think Blizzard realizes the necessity of maintaining a demonic posture and I think they will deliver a game that maintains it - whatever they may change.
By the way, Unicorns are not Rainbow Bright exclusives. Anyone who really knows Unicorn lore knows that Unicorns are most often depicted as innately vicious creatures in early lore and a person had to be truly unique in some way in order to be able to approach one. The horn on the Unicorn's forehead is a weapon, not a decoration.

But yes, she is right. Lots of areas in D2/LOD were rather lit up, and I didn't mind as it was justified. Hard to make a white sandy open desert seem dark. Especially during the middle of the day.
However, some of the more dungeon-like areas could have been darker. We only saw one little area in the trailer. There are bound to be darker areas in the game.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
All i think about when i see diablo 3 atm is wow much?, i got bored of wow really quickly because its to repetitive and boring and its graphics make me wonder what the hell was blizzard thinking, d3 is to wowish looking, big character models bublle like enemies that stand out in the environment masive armors and weapons which look really stupid just like in wow, even the background to me looks painted on just like wows.
The more i see released on the game the more i hate it, when i first heard D3 remours im like YES the hack and slash and darkest game on pc is being made once again then to see what ive seen so far im like 0_o wtf??? was that.
To most your prob seeing wahwahwahwah pffft blizzard feet kissers bow to blizzard, blizzard listened to the community when making ghost and axed it cause it was shit, if it takes another year to revamp the art detail id be willing to wait for the game to be perfect.
I feel that Diablo will stick to it's demony roots and be game that grows darker the more you progress through it. The complaints have gotten out of hand and are so tiny and even vague and opinionated that it's no wonder Blizz said that they don't matter.
Everyone should wait to see more of the game before they vocalize for such radical changes.
