But I thought the Majority of people liked DIablo 3 the way it is? Hm, I guess maybe .. NOT. If there was so many people (millions) It would be quite easy for the change polls to get outnumbered. Or the (Keep it like it is petition). Would you not think so>? I rest my case, I'm done here folks. Not going to post another thread and start a fight.
There is no reason for them to lift a finger. Everything is on course and to top it off Blizzard came out and said there is no going back. Honestly I don't care if they DO make it darker. I'm going to play because I know they will produce a FUN game.
So since I don't care if Blizzard makes it a little darker why don't I campaign for it? Simple really. I wouldn't want to delay the release. Its already been more than 8 years. I say the sooner the better. The graphics are acceptable.

Exactly, you dont CARE what the game looks like. The real fans DO. I rest my case.

So a "real fan" most have the same stand point as you or they are not a real fan?
Isn't that special...
I have been playing Diablo since Diablo 1 back in 97, I have bought Diablo 2 at least more than 2 times (damn discs...), and have spent countless hours on Battle.net. I am a true fan of Diablo and went absolutely nuts when they finally announced Diablo 3.
My opinion on the art? I don't mind it. Sure it could be darker I guess, but I do like the way it looks now.

Then go play WoW's expansion if you like it so much. The real fans want a different art style than WoW. Sorry if thats past your intellectual knowledge of reasoning and understanding.

What someone can't like the art of WoW and only want to play Diablo?
I really don't like WoW's art style, but there isn't enough of it in D3 for me to complain yet.
When I start seeing blue trolls running around with green hair I'll start to worry.

I like WoW's art style. I played WoW for years, love the game in fact.
Does that mean I want them taking A LOT of WoW's art style and implementing it into diablo 3 when all there games in the past have been visually different and refreshing from each other? Not really..

I guess that's where we differ. I played WoW for about 3 years, hated the graphics 90% of the time but the game kept me going. Then I got 60, was nothing I wanted to do. Sat and did nothing. Then BC, got to 70, then I sat and did nothing, and I realized this was how it was going to be after every expansion. Waste of money for me, so I quit playing.
I don't like the green lighting in D3, but that's about it so far. Rest looks okay, some parts look awesome.

I am a real fan. I've been playing since the release of the original Diablo game. I was mesmerized by each release - the original and all that followed. I'm guilty of infatuating other people with the games - including my two middle sons, a few of their friends, my late husband, and a few of my own friends. None of those people go to forums to pitch childish fits, they don't go to forums at all; but I would still consider that they were very big fans of Diablo and are looking forward to Diablo III.
I was a little unhappy with the graphics at first, though I wasn't frothing at the mouth like a rabid dog. The artwork seems to have grown on me over the last few weeks. That does not make me any less of a fan. Yes, I care what the game looks like. It would be horrid if I traveled all over Sanctuary and everything, everywhere was greyscaled and common in a world of magic and gothic fantasy.
So good of you to rest your case!

You mean only the real fans that agree with you, don't you? You mean that only fans that feel the same way as you can possibly be real fans, don't you? That they keep the overall demonic feel of Diablo is my foremost concern, as I've said before. Things can get just as creepy when doled out in living color.
By the way, being past (or beyond) one's intellectual knowledge of reason and understanding is nowhere near the same as being past one's ability to see reason or feel understanding. I believe the latter would be referring to you.

But, I have much faith in Blizzard. I've enjoyed all their major titles, even if I eventually got sick of WoW and the horrible balance/pvp.

It might, but the game pay video shown ruled only a pimple on a nat's ass under a lot of light.
