as long as they dont completely trash PK'ing i dont really care... if there is an option to play with or without it, i dont really think it will hurt anything, plenty of people will still play with it enabled. if anything it expands the game a level by not having to worry about people bitching at you for PK'ing them. all the people that dont want it will be gone in their safe worlds, and we will be able to PK without any complaining.

I have an original copy also, meaning D2 Classic is version 1.0 or whatever it is and D2:LoD is 1.07 which it was when it first came out. You have nothing special, you are just wrong about the hostility, just admit it and stop trying to make BS up like you know anything.

Now how can I be misinformed when I KNOW it did happen to me? Mistaken, maybe. I quit playing MP after that incident. It burned me more than you realize.
I never SAID my copy was special other than I got a copy when it was first release therefore having NO patches done to it as of yet.

this isnt GW or hellgate london.. this is Diablo.. its how diablo ALWAYS was, and always should be.. if you want that type of game then you should be forced to play GW or hellgate. DIablo however, should remain how it always has been (even though it wont), and the people who dont liek that.. well then its simply not the game for them.
Why dont people understand this.. there are so many games out there that you should choose the best fit for you.... not actively try and change other games to their specifications.
Many that play in wow pvp servers still whine about getting ganked and griefed. It is fun at the beginning but when ur playing ur alt and lvl 70 guys gank in low level areas .. eh. Also you are gathering something important reagents and u see enemy do u really wanna fight him? What happens is when he ressurrects he will backstab u when you are low on mana or life when you are fighting some mobs. This leads to circle that u try to revenge again and after all that you realise that if u had not killed him in the first place you would have gotten a lot more of those reagents in the time you did the pointless griefing.

I acutally do have HG:L and GW. GW is much better IMHO. GVG ROCKS!!!
HG:L has the ideas that Diablo WOULD have been, plausably, if the original crew had stayed. Saddly, I found it borning, though I still play it. The monsters' graphics are AWESOME to look at though.

Agreed, but personal attacks should be reported. That way all the civil talk can remain. My last post here. I just read from now on. I've made my point.
And yet, a large public outcry has arisen for a while now about griefing and PKing... lower levels complaining that Hillsbrad can never be leveled in due to the incessant amount of high levels looking for a fight.... or what about in zones where PKing is encouraged? Hellfire Penninsula much? Western Plaguelands? How many times must a character endure camping or griefing until it becomes unfair to them when they're new and its their first character? How long should they just buck up and take it, preventing them from participating in the end-game content that Blizzard's WoW devs oh-so-love? Tell me how a level 21 new player who finds themself on the wrong side of the road, camped for hours, deserves to get griefed just because it is available?
To easy, if anything your being prepared when you if you choose to can do the same damn thing when you hit 70. Life throws you curveballs it's up to you to decide how you react to it.

I'm pretty happy the way D3 is coming so far, confident the story part and such will come together. I'm more worried about whether or not Blizzard will turn it up a notch on these HACKS/CHEATS/BOTS/SCAMMERS in D3, not necessarily the way it's done in WoW but similarly to their policing system that we don't have to deal with that crap anymore. Then there is pvp/pk which I enjoyed in both games as well, I hope it turns out the best and something it worked out.
