That's irrelevant for the discussion and you're just proving what i already said before: for you we have to be part of AAA game development teams in order to criticize a game.
Congratulations you are the 7th person to give me a similar response. You obviously have no education until proven otherwise.
Yes, im a stupid, immature, idiotic, unneducated, retarded little child without education or any experience in design, arts or 3D modeling, im a Flagship or Bethesda employee and the one who created Hellgate that received 6.8 from IGN.
You spent 3 years at college yet you can't understand how a vague and misdirected petition can lead to severe and undesired consequences? Money wasted.
I don't think the petition is entirely right or the greatest way to go about things, but its pretty much the only way to get heard on the matter. Wish there was some way else, but there pretty much isn't. I don't believe that even if they listen to the petition they will change that much, all I can hope for is they adjust it even a little, and even a little in the right direction would make a big difference and make me and other fans much happier.
I'm starting to get the same idea... It went from 3k to over 34k votes.... There are definitely botters. (P.S. I also signed it... But not multiple times... They shouldn't allow that)
i got 3 e-mails since 2000 and i use them all. it wouldnt be hard for me if i wanted to (and was obsessed with something - that thankfully i'm not) to sign 3 times. I'm quite sure there are lots of kids around the internet that dont have anything better to do than sign over and over the same stupid petition.
I think the kids are opposed to the petition so not to worry bout that lol
Clearly the petition isn't as large as they like to make claim, there have been several people who have stated that they are purposely signing it multiple times with the likes of bots/scripts and or normal methods of just rinse repeating with a new email.
it's a shame people would goto such lengths, I would've really liked to see how many people were against it without it being skewed by a few dishonest people.
Shame on a lot of you, I do however respect people who dont like the art, but I do not respect those who would do anything to sway the fate of the votes their way just because they don't want to lose.
Do you have any reason or evidence for this to be more than a speculation of yours?
And judging by your only post, it's just that; a speculation.
Your just like the others that can't stand the fact that people have a problem with Blizzard whether it's one thing or the other and are truly offended by it.
Come off it.

What sort of education do you have in 3D design or game development? Has anyone here been part of a team that released a AAA title? I somehow don't think so...
Where did i say you can't comment in that? I said you have no real education on the matter of design and other visual concepts to know what is right and wrong. Your comment means nothing in other words, doesn't mean you are not allowed to comment.
You didn't say it there. You said it here:

I have spent 3 years at college doing graphic design and I have talked and worked doing 2d and 3d with people that actually know people in some big name companies. I have spent a lot of time doing "game development" and I still think they have taken the wrong direction. No I haven't worked on an "AAA" title, but I know enough about style and art and 3d and 2d to make a decent decision on what has been shown.
Well in that case you are still not educated enough to comment on the work of others who have then, especially in a negative manner.

Is it really that hard to believe that many people don't like the look, just look at all the polls around here in which most people voted they weren't happy. Seriously, you would have to be deluded to think that "every" person is going to waste their time setting up new emails to sign multiple times.
Most of the polls here were about 50%/50% liking / not liking.

The two main ones seem to be 60/40 and 65/35 in favor of it getting changed. When you take into account all the brand new WoW refugees no doubt turning up and loving the new looks, Blizzard can do no wrong fan boys and those that just want the game ASAP you end up with a lot less who actually genuinely like the way things look. Whereas all the votes wanting change are exactly that, people who aren't totally happy. Might want to take that into consideration cause it basically ends up as probably something like 60% want change, 30% don't really care so long as they get Diablo3 and 10% would actually be unhappy if D3 lost its WoW looks.

Actually I'd think a lot of the people that never played Diablo but play WoW saw the trailer thought to themselves "AWESOME!" and then continued playing WoW but checking the D3 mainsite every few days, I doubt anyone who never played Diablo is posting on this forum.
I just hope if they DO change the graphics it's nothing to dramatic, I don't want to see that dull, boring world like the one in the video with near no color.
Regardless if petitioners are botters or not, they are merely louder than those who don't have a problem with the new art direction because they have something to complain about. There are still many of us who embrace the new art direction.
With all of the sites that the petition has been linked to, I highly doubt it. The vast majority, if not all of the signatures are legitimate.
Of course you do, but even if they were legitament (which they're not) there's no way that it'll affect Diablo 3 in any way, nor will the fact it hasn't changed keep you or any of the other "legitament signers" from buying it and squeeing like schoolgirls.

Blizzard is not responsible for the death and loss of your hardcore characters for any reason including Internet lag, bugs, Acts of God, your little sister, or any other reason whatsoever. Consult the End User License Agreement for more details. Blizzard will not, and does not have the capability to restore any deceased Hardcore characters. Don't even ask. La-la-la-la-la, we can't hear you..,
That's not that many people. You do know the internet is very large right? And the interest in this game is very big. The signatures started going up when it hit the news feeds. They are most likely 95% all real.
Quote from "Ultramegazord" »
80% of the signatures have comments attached, varied, diverse comments about a lot of stuff, some of them are even written in different languages and i assure you they arent false.
80-95% of the time, statistics are taken out of their own ass

making diablo 3 all colorful makes me want to stay away from the game.
even outside in the blood more and other areas it was dark.
the lightness in Lut G. was understandable, and very enjoyable. they should keep it small, dark-gothic, and minimal detail i m o
just like the other diablos
And here's my problem with this. D1 came out in 1996 that means it was programmed in 1994 and 1995. That was 14YEARSAGO! The reason the detail was so minimal was beacuse computers couldn't handle great detail. If you look at D2 you start to see detail that's why they went into lighter areas. Now computers have advanced even more.

Anyway i still believe you don't have any education what so ever and you are simply a bullshit artist, but meh.
And ill just say it one last time, you can comment, but your comment is of no importance especially since you are likely a little child.
Atleast you admit it
