Maphacks are fine, they didn't do anything to the economy.
Duping and shit on the other hand there better not be any of that shit.
But if they are going to make high runes as rare as they were in d2 there will be dupes, they need it make it better than a 1:100,000,000 chance of dropping.
I don't see how maphack would do anything to effect your gameplay as long as you don't use it. (which I never did.)

I disagree. I like the idea of having some item that is just asburdly difficult to come by. It's pretty cool really.. and it's not like you missed out on THAT much without having a zod or whatever.

Maphack never bothered me too much -- I admit I used it after I had played for years and it merely saved time, though I'll grant it's still a hack so I'm not proud of it.
I'd prefer there be no maphack, because it would be tempting to use and I'd hate to ruin the experience.
i bet there will be hacks again, and again will differentiate the True players from Chaotic players.

I think I heard that the Unique monster will have random spawn points. So not only will the maps be randomized, but monsters will be too. Map hack will probably tell you where the Unique Monsters are in D3. This would be disappointing.

YES. This was THE reason for duping, hacks, bots, and subsequently the ridiculous economy in D2. Blizzard should know that as Diablo players, we are completely anal about having the best we can get. (Evidenced by people paying outrageously for perfects when they could have something a few points weaker for a lot less).

You do realize that's exactly what they claimed with D2 right? It's hard to keep all hacks out of a game, and even Blizz might not be able to do it.
