I think it would be cool if they add a ah in Diablo 3 which is accessible after you log on. This would stop all that spamming in chat :). A bit like wow would be great. Also a bank/chest that is accessible for all your characters on the account would be great cause people won't need more accounts to mule their stuff from one character to the other if they need it. At last i hope they will do something against the rushers and grinders, because gold was worthless in Daiblo 2 and because people rushed you it was easy to get lvl 80 in 5 hours with all difficult levels completed.
i like the secend idea always annoying tryner swap items wen mates arnt on.. dunno how AH in diablo would go though maybe if u could set up wat items you want for ur item or something like that
I agree with you. i think taking the element of rush out of the game would make it alot better. i think poeple would stick around alot longer. PvP wouldnt get so boreing becuase everyones characters would be completly different, becuase every character would have experienced the game a different way with different drops. i really hope they make the drop system unique to its own as well. i got tired of every amazon and every barb looking exactly the same as the next one.
Once I have been through the game once I would like to be able to rush through it again. I built many different characters with Diablo II and I would never have done that without being able to rush those other characters through.
I'd like the no Mule stuff "NO MULE YAY" but the Auction house just NO.... We dont want a WoW failure
(i mean rip off with that)
Shared chest is a fun idea but it should be BIG!
Why?
WoW borrowed a ton from Diablo. Why not borrow a few things that work well from WoW?
I don't see myself throwing items somewhere and rushing to get my other character in hope that the game won't close meanwhile in Diablo 3.
I don't see myself creating games like "O perf eni N 2 soj" and then waiti like an idiot for someone to ender my game in Diablo 3.
I don't see myself jumping to the end of the game, level 80 in one day in Diablo 3.
and I don't see myself throwing gold in a hide place before dueling so it won't drop from me, or better yet, not hiding the gold because its worth nothing anyway.
Blizzard promised us a brand new Battle.net and a brand new game and I'm sure they will learn from the mistakes of the past. In Blizzard I Trust.

One of the fun parts of diablo 2 was the social part of trading, i don't want an auction house, but it would be nice to have a 2D lobby maybe where you could trade with other people without having to join a game, kinda like a trading lobby with your merchant character, maybe there could be a special character per acc that was a merchant character with ALOT of slots just for trading.
I wouldn't mind an auction system cause it would pretty much wipe out item sellers.
I wouldn't mind a bank system in place so I wouldn't have to mule all my items on characters.
I don't know about anti-grind thing however...
No matter what game you play you will always find a way to cheat the system, its a natural thing in rpgs.
Please no Auction House gg... Everything else I can agree on accept the grinding part. Also all the characters looked the same in d2 for a reason so when you pvp'd it was all based on skill by limiting the items of each class. Everyone had there rune word shit so when It came down to it was all skill who won. I would love to see this again, its why I played d2 for so long.
With all the MMO games out there with different type of economy, I think Blizzard will do right with this one. D2 had very unstable markets. They will most likely make a copper/silver/gold type of system in D3 so that the market can be artificially and neturally regulated. And there will probably be some kind of AH or similar unified trading system in place to help buffer item valuations and keep the monetary system active and stable.
A system where after each level we gain in a day we get an x% less XP during the next level, capping at 5% XP until 24 hours have passed since your last level up.
Example given:
0 levels gained today = 100% of normal XP.
2 levels gained today = 80% of normal XP.
4 levels gained today = 50% of normal XP.
5 levels gained today = 25% of normal XP.
6 > levels gained today = 5% of normal XP.
There is a bit of a good idea in it. It would stop level grinders but maybe
0 levels gained today = 100% of normal XP.
5 levels gained today = 80% of normal XP.
10 levels gained today = 50% of normal XP.
15 levels gained today = 25% of normal XP.
20 > levels gained today = 5% of normal XP
?

Account bank: Yes
AH: If they make it right yes.. I never liked to hang in trade channels
Anti rush: yes
Way to prevent rushing: Have it like pre-lod. If some member in party is 5 levels or higher than you, you gain almost no experience, it worked fine then. People with around same levels played together.
Account bank is definitely a good idea. I remember having 8 accounts worth of mules at one point in D2. Auction house is welcome but not necessary. They do, however need an improvement in the trading system instead of mindlessly spamming in trade chat for an item you want and watch carefully for a whisper that can disappear from the screen in a mere second.
I love the chest idea, I got annoyed making multiple mules and making random passworded games... occasionally I lost items because my ISP randomly decided it wouldn't connect to Battle.net...
Also it would just make life a lot easier >.<
I don't agree on the auctionhouse... it's not one big world like wow, I don't think it would work and I don't think it needs it...
There needs to be some easier way to contact people and organize trades though.

Just not sure how they would implement it.
