When you get diablo 3, would you play Single Player (perhaps to get a deeper understanding of the story), LAN/battle.net with a few friends, or Battle.net with random people?
I personally would choose to play LAN with a few good friends, to have more fun and not need to rush through like i might have to on battle.net.
Single player, as it has been with almost any game i have bought. I take my time, enjoying the scenery, story, music and just the experience in general
god what wrong with playing on battle net with people you KNOW?
th ebest gaming experience i have ever had was during like 4 months of playing diablo2 lod in battle.net ladder with my school friends, and i want this again, with dialbo 3
I'll probably just start on Multiplayer and play with whoever wants to play with me..
I'll definitely spend a long time actually playing it to get the story down and shit.

As the shadow once again crawls across our world...
...the stench of terror drifts on a bitter wind,
The people pray for strength and guidance ..
they should pray for the mercy of a swift death
for I have seen what the darkness hides.
Hopefully, Hardcore mode will be available from the start, contrary to the way it was in D2. All my friends are Hardcore junkies, and it would be awesome to not only work our way through the story and enjoy it, but to also have that looming fear of death on our heads to make us cautious. =)
I will probably play both simultaneously, meaning on battle.net if my friends are on and single player to enjoy the story and game with out rushing through.
Why do people put online and rushing into the same category? I see no reason why you cannot start online, enjoy the scenery and the lore AND your friends and others, without feeling like you need to rush through it.
I'm starting online with whoever is around. I'll have friends who will play and we'll be on battle.net. Single player will be reserved for days when my internet is down or I am downloading something which takes too much bandwidth.

What about you guys?
