I really don't mind either storage mechanic. I really liked the rearranging one had to do to "tetris" the stuff in place, trying to find two more squares so that you could put that Great Maul in or whatever.
But really, as long as the personal storage is fixed (PlugY for the win), I'm good with whatever method that they choose to implement. PlugY breathed new life into the game for me and my friends with its million+ 10x10 pages. Add to that the ability to scroll by 1, 10 or 100 pages and you were totally set for pack-rat heaven.

A huge armor plate should take up more space than a rock. I personally liked the tetris version, but I am not really complaining. I'll like it both ways.
