I think there should be a new mode of play, but I dont think anti-paragon would be the way to go. I do however feel there should be a cap on paragon levels each season. I also think it should be one that most of the player base can hit, with time to spare. maybe 1000 levels or something.
The people who talk about how lovely D3 Vanilla was or how they demand certain options are disabled because "its not fair" remind me of casual Communists in 2016 talking about how we need to harken back to awesome the USSR was. One, it was NOT awesome, and you are either forgetting, ignoring your memories, or seriously twisted. Two, play your way! Why would you make us play with so few options and so brutally dismal a hope for character buildup? Because you are OFFENDED that people rank higher than? Get over it, people need not conform to the lowest common denominator because it offends you. Go play Diablo 2, and stop trying to warp my experience with your "heckler's veto" arguments. Its annoying and you sound like a fool.
lol every build in d3 is viable on some lvl of difficulty. if you're not interested in leaderboards play whatever trash you want in torment 2, for example.
if you don't like to play some sets, play LoN with whatever build you want, every LoN build can easily crash t10, play nefalems and drop rift keys on the ground = be hardcore vanilla player lol(but ofc you can't even farm 13 good ancients because the grind is too hard for casuals)
wanting the game back to vanilla with no grifts, gems, cube and cadala looks like brain cancer for me.
I saw exactly one post from you (and I replied to it), and it showed a pretty high level of ignorance of the game (well, the particular skill and build). I don't think it's your place to talk down to people.
Kadala and Blood shards was always a terrible addition. Was no real need for her to emerge.
The cube is fun enough, but together with Kadala they just nerf to gearing process to the ground.
Vanilla had the concept that you needed a certain level of gear to play where you could get the best gear drop.
This caused a sort of gating into Inferno which was very nice for the sake of just feeling some individual progression.
Now you are fully geared and into min/maxing after an evening or 2 played.
Yes, i think it would be very good to have a new play mode.
Since theres a big amount of ppl playing d3, why not divide them into normal, hardcore, season and even more modes? -.-
