I was just woundering if anyone knew .. if you don't its alright because
i've herd D3 is mostly a secret ..
Is this game monthly pay ? because it was advertised on WoW and that makes
me have a feeling that this will probly be monthly fee which i really hate
and they already make enough money off of WoW plus we already pay
for our internets which just makes it harder on us and then they will prolly
start to get less players..
Well mostly the topic is on if this game is monthly pay fee if anyone knows
just reply to this. Thanks!
Buuuut- since you asked- no, Blizzard has not officially stated or hinted at whether or not Diablo III (or whatever they will call the next installment of the Diablo franchise) will be pay-to-play. Not that they said there will or will not be another Diablo franchise installment, either.
Edit: Hmmm, I suspect you didn't mean that Diablo 3 was actually advertised in World of Warcraft, but just that WoW had a subscription.
I hope that D 3 can support itself without a subscription through a couple ads here and there, large and continuous purchases of the game, and/or expansions. Then again if it's a MMORPG then it will probably need the support of a subscription which I'd be willing to pay.

I think, there will only be a monthly fee if the game is an MMO. If it's not an MMO, it will probably use battle.net which Blizzard likes to advertise as their free online service.

Dang .. if it is im not a diablo fan anymore i will be just not a big one..
I honestly hope they do have a monthly fee. Less then WoW but something, $5-10/month.
Why?
Look how much attention and support WoW gets? Constant updates, constant attention, etc... Pretty effective anti-cheating measurements. Dedicated servers, non-battle.net.
Battle.net has reigned supreme for most blizzard games and is very very good for being a free service. But I would pay more for a premium service. Similar to Closed and Open Bnet. Open D3 is free on battle.net, Close/Ladder is on D3 subscribed service.
For a smooth / stable / cheat free game... I would definately pay.
