Just something that I thought of, wouldn't there have to be some sort of disclosure available to stock owners of said organizations about what properties either have or are currently working on to place a value on each of these organizations? I am no business man, but I would think there would have to have been some mention of a title that is currently in the works by Blizzard to stock owners. Thoughts?
seems odd that they would only have to mention that something is being worked on. IF I was acquiring a company, I would want to know what it was and what kind of impact it would have in the future. How do they know they're not throwing all their eggs into one basket, with something like SC Ghost? (this is just an example)
Well the main reason for disclosure of upcoming products is due to your companies competition. If your competition knows what your company is doing...9/10 times your company will lose in the stock market and buisness because of your competition out matching your specific product.

I have some interesting information about this entire topic, re: Blizzard working on products and who knows what and so on.
I went on a tour of Blizzard HQ in California this summer and this is what I gathered.
First off, when you enter the building the first room you are in, is a waiting area with a receptionist behind a massive piece of glass. The only way you can get into Blizzard is if they let you basically.
Now, each team has their own area, and even though we went on a big tour at no point did we ever come close to seeing any secret teams. There is entire sections of their builders that are like "super" secret, which is why they have the ability to keep such a huge secret on the down low.
Most of you know that I am employeed at Hewlett Packard. We have constant tours where Non-Employees are unable to enter due to several Hp models that have yet to be reveiled. With all the test buildings and storage facilities here, about 40% of the building Non-Employees are able to see. This is just Hewlett Packard...now think about a company such Blizzard-Activision-Vivendi

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

I used to work for HP. Of course that was before Carley was axed, and why I "used" to work there. Haha
I would imagine Blizzard wouldn't keep secret projects out in the open for anyone to see. But I am surprised something hasn't leaked. A programmer telling a friend with a big mouth, or a maintenance guy who happened to see something. IT amazes me that it can be kept a secret, especially in the day and age of the internet. I mean, we all know they are working on it, but the fact that there isn't even the slightest leak is crazy to imagine.
As far as the OP, I don't know why it came to me, but I figured there had to be some information divulged in the whole "red tape" thing. Figured it would make it out with that.

Well, to be Honest, I'm the webmaster of this site, and with EVERYTHING I know..which is more then what is posted on this site... I still can't say with 100% confidence that Diablo 3 or a Diablo product is being worked on.... and I have even shook hands with the President of Blizzard... lol So yeah, they have kept it a pretty good secret.
That's like government conspiracy kind of a secret. Haha. I guess we will find out soon enough. The worst part isn't waiting to find out that they are working on it, it's waiting for it to be released after you know they are working on it.

I'm just thinking though. Blizzard may be keeping their work under wraps, but what about cleaning? Someone has to clean their offices where Team 3 houses, and they can't possibly hide everything they work on every night before the cleaning starts. So the cleaners at Blizzard must know what's going on

Yeah, agreed!, but everyone is probably on some type of NDA, especially the janitors, so if they said anything... they would be totally in trouble I would think, so they probably don't wana tell anyone, or maybe they don't care... they're janitors!
they do have to say they have products in development but they can leave it at that without stating titles or genre of said product
common shareholders....not a chance
