well i voted for WOW, fable, and oblivion...
wow would be cool... they have great graphics..
fable would be better. i've always loved the way the game looked (you dont want tooo realistic)
and oblivion cuz i like being able to chose 1st or 3rd person views.
I voted D2, Oblivion and Neverwinter Nights, because I'd love a dark, sinister feel and a realistic look. I'd personally hate to see D3 look all cartoonish like WoW or Fable. . . that just wouldn't be right.

"So I like climb out the window and I fall because we’re on the third floor , but it’s cool, because I land where my arm used to be, but it’s not there so it doesn’t hurt. And I’m thinking, yeah, man, this no arm thing is kinda chill."
Yes well, I was a bit uncertain about Oblivion myself, but my point is taken and that's what matters.

I would just combine Diablo 1 design, Heroes V texture quality (I know it's very flashy but the texture quality is amazing), Oblivion polygon quality, and isometric landscape...
I went for titanquest. Diablo 3 should certainly be 3D and Titanquest seemed to handle it ok, although obviously with darker Sanctuary graphics. I used to think I wanted a rotating camera, but that can be a real pain in the but unless they change D3 more into an RPG than a hack and slash. I think I'd prefer fixed camera.
Fixed cameras are ok unless you playing a real detail 3d game than you usely have trouble with objects getting into your view and that can turn out to be a real drag.
That isn't the best screenshot of guild wars I'v seen but I voted for it. But really I'd like the game to be darker like the first one but with a lot of detail to the environment.

Yeah I used to think that too, but it works better from a first person perspective rather than 3rd. Also having played Heroes of Might and magic V recently, a rotating camera actually adds very little to the game given the 3rd person perspective.
Yea... and since everything overlaps everything you find yourself turning it all the time. And then you have it at some angle and you have trouble targeting enemies because the perspective is different.
I'm kinda hopping they use 3D graphics for the game. This industry is changing, and I think 3D is where it's going. So who's with me?...

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
ya fixed camera makes the games easier to develop and also makes it easier to play, but do you think blizzard is going to go for the easy way out? A revolving camera is becoming the new standard for any type of game and has a high possibility of being in D3.

Blizzard had a relatively strict camera in WC3. In fact, WC3 is one of the few strategies where I actually do not remember issues with seeing what is going on. I expect the same from Diablo, and, especially, SC2.
Revolving camera is not a standard. It's an option. You can enable it in any game. The questions is: is the game adapted for stationary camera or a revolving one?

well WC3 was released over 5 yrs ago, and started long before then, all relatively new games have a revolving camera, and with D3's anonymous "restart" this would call for it to be up to date.

I, so far, do not see any of those new games being properly competitive.
And I played Perimeter (camera can rotate), I never rotated the camera... just no reason to.
I'm just saying that while they will most probably have that feauture in there, it does not mean they will make the game depend on it, in fact, WHY WOULD YOU?
It might be better for sales if they added a 1st person option as well as a revolving 3rd person option, but that dosnt mean that blizz will add those features, its all just speculation anyway.

To find the truth, you must risk everything.
I hope it is a fixed camera, tho. Otherwise all those "view" problems creep up...
