ya, that would have made an impression. i think the entire croud was also waiting for diablo 3 to be announced, you could hear it in their voices.

Blizzard totally knew people would think that was Diablo 3.... they are just building up the hype.... it's coming, and soon

Well, it sounds like (according to Pam Sams' interview) that Diablo will get a game after WoW:WotLK and SC2 are done. Read/listen to his statement carefully.

Ahh the chaos that would have insued...

he says they are working msotly on WoW and Starcraft 2 and then after those products hit it high they will go back to Diablo 3 so we might be waiting til next blizzcon.

if it takes another year, im all for it. but im not for the idea of watching the other two hit the shelves by the time diablo 3 comes.

I was thinking the same thing as i watched it on Giga, I dont care if its all WoW and SC fans there, they would all cheer for a new blizzard game.
