Blizzard really has to show me something good soon. Loved Diablo and Starcraft, but I have to interest in Warcraft at all. Since 2001, all they have produced is Warcraft titles, which in my opinion, is their most unpopular series.
Now they are introducing Starcraft 2. I know it's still in development and hasn't been shown in depth, but from what i've seen its exactly like the original Starcraft except with slight unit modifications and updated graphics.
They can really expand on the single player game for Starcraft 2, but if you guys are like me, you're going to buy the game to play online. I just really hope there are major changes in Starcraft 2, or im simply not going to be that interested.
It was just a random idea =) The capcom thing made me think of it as possible. Maybe they won't throw in the whole thing but rather use some of the content, or use it for some easter eggs ... but ok that is an entirely different thing than what I've said.
slighlty on the off topic side:
From what I have seen of SC2 it seems it is going slighlty in the dirrection of WC3 in terms of how complicated each unit is going to be. Every unit we have seen in demos so far has some activated abilities which need to be used at the right moment and have a devastating impact on outcome of the battle. So rather then being so much about true micro (at least as much as before) the game will be more about catching up with these abilities and using them as effectively as possible. Don't get me wrong, SC2 still seems to have faster paced battles than WC3 (and doesn't have the silly rpg moment) and will require more control but the game seems to be fading away from being intuitive in the similar way WC3 did, especially after the expansion pack. It's more about knowing everything there is to know (every map, etc ...) rather than having real gosu skills =)
ive played diablo 2 for a long time, before the exp came out even, and yes your right i switched to wow but i stopped and am just waiting for d3. i just hope they maintain it better than d2... no dupes, etc etc
I've been digging very deep in this, and man-o-man is it deep. Blizzard chose the perfect codename for Diablo III. And I'm surprised Umaro believes in him when others don't. I, on the other hand, do. I will post my findings later tonight.
Wait, so is he kidding or is he not telling us something?

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
His efforts in this thread are over. The bickering and denial within the thread made him lose his interest. It's ok to deny what he is saying is false, but I don't think 7+ pages of it is necessary.
Well, I'm not sure how much of the "clues" have been interpreted (im only on page 5) but I'm pretty sure we actually kill Diablo for good this game. Hercules kills hydra... meh, maybe.
Not only that, but I'm sure WoW players are looking forward to Northrend instead of some odd Diablo content.

Well, lots of WoW players came from Diablo World and mostly of them would come back in a blink of an eye.. I would.

But lets make something clear. He said that "Hydra" was not the codename. It was only a hint at the codename.
Now that Blizzcon is over and you have returned to the site, how do you feel about the "hydra" rumor?
Every NDA I know of is a legally binding contract, not a term of employment.
BlizzCon was a fluke, by the way. We were pretty sure we were ready for it. Unfortunately not.
