nope shurikens werent in the game. not to my recolection
no eastern weapons were. no katanas, Hozoin spears, or any Shaolin weapons. the only asian weapons were from the middle east.

Well, you know, katanas are hard to make, they are really sharp, and each samurai has his katana that he values a lot. And when it's in the "crude katana of the wolf" format, it's a bit lame.
ah yes, once a katana becomes damaged it loses its Chi, it is better to get a new one that try to repair a broken one.
