yes, lets see your creativity at work guys. drawings, scans, photos are welcome but your own drawings are preferred, we would like to see you work rather than someone elses, but for the purposes of getting things started, here are some pics of different weapons. swords, maces, hammers, bows, daggers, flails...
if some of the D3 weapons look like any of these ill be pretty happy.
ok you got me im no artist, these are some of the actual weapons from Baldur's Gate II, but like i said, in the interest of getting this thing rolling, i supplied this pics to give a sort of starting point.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
its all theoretical. we dont know what weapons will be in d3, but we can guess. it will be much the same weapon types as in the previous games, and possibly some we havent seen in the diablo series yet.

im gonna say a wooden shaft with a metal head piece?
now that either gonna Halberd, Staff or Axe, but you favour the axe, so Halberd or Axe. Halberds have to much reach, you prefer getting up close and personal, so axe.

Hero of the Trojan War, son of Telamon, thus called the Telamonian Ajax, also called Ajax the Greater. In the Iliad he is represented as a gigantic man, slow of thought and speech, but quick in battle and always showing courage. He led the troops of Salamis against Troy and was one of the foremost Greek warriors, fighting both Hector and Odysseus to draws.

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

haha my scanner is broke (i dont know how to make it work- broke) so i cant post any drawings... but ill try to use paint :-) not sure how that'll go lol
if we had sais item properties there is a rather large chance someone will go ahead and make some item that is so insanely stupid. something with say, 15 to all skills, 50 to all attributes. seriously ive seen a hacked item with that, on it. also game mechanics has no limit on the number of properties as far as i know,, ive seen an item with enough properties to fill the entire screen, and the writing was barely readible, it was size 5 of something it was so small.
i along with PlasticComplex didnt want that to happen, thus we made the decision for this to only be designing weapons.
im sure most people here would be sensible with the properties, but ican just about guarantee some idiot will make an ass of himself.

nothing says u can not partake in the art contest. I think it would be better if u did. The more drawings the better and im sure everyone else would agree
contest laws state owners or staff of the establishment where in the contest is held, are not permitted to enter said contest.
Plastic Complex and I made this contest, so while we cant enter, we can supply examples. and true to my nature i have done so already. i have provided several examples to get people thinking.
