If you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last
By helping a neighbor

And to know who needs help
You need only just ask
Yes they are, and I thank you for your complement, but unfortunately, like so many other things around here, my work and services are greatly under appreciated, or go largely unnoticed. Also the Diablo series' current naming restrictions actually limited many of them.
You cannot use SPACE or ' and also there is a 15 character limit. So that hinders many of the names and ideas for names that I suggested. Hopefully some of these restrictions are removed or altered in D3, and any and all further Diablo titles.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
btw, some of ur examples sound like icelandic type of words.
That is true. Largely in part due to their sheer brilliance. Bjorn (pronounce Byorn) is vastly superior in my eyes to xXxkillsyouxXx or anything that includes the word, or any variation of the word "noob".

Bjork is actually a pretty cool name. However due to well Bjork the singer, the name has lost much of, if not all of it's coolness.

I usually use a few different names.
Ravanos (my own name sounds similar to a race in Vampire the masquerade I've been told) Hesperos (evening star)
Eosphoros (morning star)
Argoros (a variation of a giant from Greek mythology)
Vakiel (thought it sounded cool)
Few girl names:
Kaelysta
Shiroyuki (frozen orb sorc)
Krystal
Just a note, there was a big stink when WoW first opened. Several pvp guilds in beta and from UO made public what server they were going to go to. So, someone got there first and took all their names. I know some people who had the same thing happen by a person that disliked them in DAoC. One name, maybe, but the whole list? That's a griefer.

That will happen either way, list or no list. I continuously find names i wish to use have already been taken.
This thread also speaks of conventions, and ideas of how to go about naming characters, while I provided several I am sure there are many others people use. Feel free to list them.
Such as alternative spellings of animal names.
Wolf becomes Wulf
Lion becomes Leon

Audhumla Would be another good choice. Ok so it's actually the name of a Cow but it sounds cool.
Medulla, and prior discussions of viking/norse/icelandic names led me to think of Audhumla

well most of the people with dsalfjdskfhas as a name are mules or bots.
x's used in names like xXxjimxXx are really lame.
maybe we could purchase or get nicknames and/or tags of some sort. lets say i name my char apples <- nothing wrong with it? i can get "apples 'of Richmond upon Thames'" as a tag or "apples 'the cutter'" as a nickname.

Remember the String of Ears
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
Trucido.
Latin for to kill cruelly, slay, butcher, massacre, slaughter.
That is if no one has reserved it in the 42 pages previous that I'm definitely not reading.
Unfortunately, I find it common to buy a game and not be able to have the name I want. This pretty much results in stupid shit like me looking around my PC desk, seeing something, and creating a name from there.
