I was just meaning the basic hack and slash nature of the god of war graphics/point of view. As far as Leap and things are concerned, all of that would be on the scripting portion of the game as opposed to the graphical part to change it from a console/controller game to a point/click mouse game.

thats kinda what i was talking about too. with GOW you could do a lot of things that you couldnt in Diablo, camera angles, and the way the game looks is fine for a Hack and slash game, but it was some of the movements in GOW that you just cant do, swim, climb, these things arent all that needed in a hack and slash game of diablo's nature seeing as how its on a linear plain.
but yes the graphics of GOW would be great. but i think i might miss the isometirc view too much, id still buy it and play it of course.
where are you from? (Country)
again who are you talking to? BoomerSoonerOU? because what he is saying is nothing a gamer wouldnt know.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Diablo has always seemed to have the superior graphics to the other games, so I'm hoping that that stays true
That will be hard. The business has developed considerably in later years, and there simply doesn't seem to be much time to do everything great in a game.
This is especially considering that we'er assuming D3 has been in development for a while just like SC2. And just like SC2, if that is the case then the graphics cannot be comparable to the best in the market. Too many years of development and you are bound to fall behind.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

yes, you begin making something and by the time its released graphics have surpassed it. so you concertrate on other importtant area like character and story, aspects the diablo series does exceptionally well

Aspects that remain timeless, and that is defiantely a strength of games based on story rather than pretty graphics and action. They can take their time if that's what they start with, only when work on the actual engine starts do they need to hurry. Well, theoretically speaking.

I voted 4 Graphics similar to Diablo II. If you stray to far from D2’s graphics the game would lose that “Diablo” feeling about it. By using graphics comparable to Wow it would make the games to similar.

Well the graphics aren't going to be completely up to date because blizzard takes so long to make games they fall a little bit behind in graphics but make up greatly in gameplay.

with the exception of DII graphics of course, and with getting too graphically taxing, im quite fond of BGII myself. good old fashion mid 90's graphics, back when games concerntrated on story and character. before everyone just started pumping out games with insanely amazing graphics. not that i dont mind those games, GOW was awesome, but i like the story and the characters found therein, yep im a tabletop DND nerd.

I like Sacred graphics as well - but I thought it was easier than d2 with the exception of the dragons.

you should have put sacred on the poll list it has better graphics than d2 but d2 is easier to play sacred has higher lvls u can get to plus nice ranks to play in and thus i could make a list of everything that could possibly been liked in d3 i wouldnt mind to have a pet like something of fate

it's detailed, but a little outdated. that kind of graphics with free camera (360-degree rotation), higher resolution and/or textures.
or even the same with Starcraft 2 with all those physics effects.
i don't mind the graphics of Dungeon Siege 2. sadly, it wasn't included in the choices.

The birdseye view of D2 combined with the awesome detail and smoothness of Titan Quest.
