Does anyone else FEEL like, screw it I'm botting this season, since it appears that they really don't seem to care? I mean if you get caught it's only 20$ to get a new game anyways.
You don't even need a new account, you can bot 24/7 and not get banned as long as you don't do it on stream. Blizz proved obviously they don't care about botters (or the opinion of the community) despite public outrage.
Totally feel like not botting. Why would I? Doesn't matter if you're not punished hard enough for it, it's against the rules and should not be used. Play the game as it's meant to be, no botting, no thirdparty software. Good luck in season five everyone!
The real question is actually: "do you want to play for a placement in the leaderboards"..if so than YES you will most likely have to bot, as it is so commonly used, you will just cripple yourself with having only 50%-60% of the Paragonlevels of anybody else
I didn't bot and i'm in the leaderboard and two other people of our clan too. i was in the leaderboard after 30hrs of playtime without botting or any other help like THUD. Diablo isn't only a grinder, i was paragon 800 at the end. and the other two are 600
I wish blizz poured money into this right here. permanently ban all bnet accounts that bot. every single one, every region. are the resources not there? that can't be, blizz has bottomless funds. I guess until then, just have fun, since there is no such thing as competitive botting.
top500:S, you might be botting all the season to get THAT unreachable level?
C´mon man! I´m a casual player with work and family and old laptop...I think that rank around 350 (my) is very good result if you consider my time possibilities....you only show how arogant you are
No, dude, just realist. Its a great mark be at 300+ at list, but its not really difficult if you really play with this in mind. But competition starts at 100- placement...
When I talked about reaching the leaderboards I didnt mean reaching something like 800 (no offense, thats still an achievement on its own), but if you look at the top 100 for example you will rarely find a char that has below 4 digit paragon.
The reason is still the same as it was before...there is an insane power creep after 800 due to each level granting prime stats. As it was discussed over and over, the best way to increase power at a certain point is not to look for an itemupgrade, but simply grind paragons for days on end, since they grant more power increase as the last missng 1% crit dmg will ever do.
I was place 91 solo WD like the whole season, i stopped playing the last month of the season and dropped to 221. i think i could stay there if i had played the last month too. But i had todo a lot with my job. the Paragon really isn't the best source of power a GEM on lvl 70+ is worth a lot more, because without them you can't do it.
They loosing nothing. Botters are cost them much. They use a huge amount of the server laod nad stopping other players from enjoing the game.
if they ban the botters they will get a better server performance and can eventually reduce the amount of servers. It additionally may attract old players to play the game again and they will eventually hire friends to play with them. so they will sell more copy's. Another big advertange of the ban is: The botters have to rebuy the game.
Blizzard don't make any money with the game itself if you play it. They are not interested in active players, every active Player costs them money because of the servers.

Top 100 isn't really much for playing the whole season if you're willing to play a couple hours a day. If you're talking like top 20, paragons and stuff really matters a lot. But the difference from the top and 100 is a pretty wide gap for most classes.
For some classes leaderboards ended extremely low compared to the classes potential, because not that many people really compete for ranks in a not really competitive game anyways. Like my Wizard, last played towards the end of September was still like 120-130'ish by the time season ended, and I didn't even fish for rifts to do that clear back in September.
Ever since RoS I don't put much effort into this game since I'm against botting and THUD, yet still have several classes on the leaderboards occasionally in top 100 during the times I play. TBH the skill level in this game for top 20 is probably lower than even playing at Masters in StarCraft or like Duelist in WoW. It's really not that competitive because the game is heavily RNG based due to it's PvE nature.
I dont want to bust your bubble, but screenshots of someone posting his thoughts on a third party forum...sick proof. Blizzard will probably send the cops after him.
Stop trolling, you know person that started this thread posted that not me, if you gonna admit to botting then that should raise red flags anyway for blizzard to investigate, what you are doing is just trolling and being an asshole.
I just showed you that sending screenshots to Blizzard of someone typing out his thoughts is pointless, because it has absolutely no value. Especially since the given Battletag is arbitrary.
You post a image of my post that you altered to make it appear as if i am a cheater, when you know i never posted that, this is called being an asshole and a dick also considered bully'ng which is also known as trolling......
If having a machine play the game for you seems like an intriguing proposition, id consider playing a different game because you clearly don't want to play this one.

Anyway on-topic if you need to cheat in a online game to enjoy a game then that game is't worth playing at all.
If people stop playing bad games, then devs will sooner or later get message that they doing something wrong.

Turbo hud was bigger impact probably still is, however now you don't have excuse to use it anymore, so hopefully they start taking that serious now.
