I'm a solo player who doesn't really pay attention to the pro strategies, so I was more than a little shocked when I checked out my friend's D3 profile when we were both online. He has three Season 4 characters--a lvl 70 WD that had been played for 2.5 hours, a lvl 70 Wizard that had only 20 minutes clocked, and a DH with 91 hours. His Season Paragon lvl was 596 (compared to his regular Paragon of about 400).
I can understand the Wizard getting power rushed, and the WD, especially after adding in the Paragon...but holy crap, how does ANYONE get nearly 600 Paragon in less than 100 hours? What's the secret? My clearly uncivilized mind keeps concluding on bots, especially seeing that he is constantly logging off every twenty minutes only to come back on five minutes later. Tell me he's cheating, that I can't be this much out of the loop.
602 paragon here with ~80 hrs played, run groups with exp/heal monk (actually i'm playing one hehe) 55-60 grifts. I can easilly imagine that without afking in town, doing bounties for reagents, farming keywardens and playing sometimes solo i could be well in 800 range with the same amount of hrs played.
Actually if you're playing monk after crafting exp gear, getting RorG and gambling Inna's pieces solo rifts, bounties and so on just aren't worth it becouse your ancient weapon will be crafted (born's) and amount of shards you get in 55+ grifts will gear your dps spec extremly fast. So you just farm towards 800 paragon, meanwhille leveling gems and getting gear for pushing grifts solo.
P.S. Got bored at paragon 600, might farm some later))
Having had through the years various internet issues (i skipped basically all S2 after reachin 72 paragon) and having layed casually until now (598 total account paragon) this time i'm aiming to farm quite a bunch with a support monk.
Again i have still to start S4 due to again internet issues but i should be able to play from this saturday - 100 hours is not that much and if i play efficiently i'll be able to get decent amount of xp.
Its easy this season. Im paragon 911 with a casual 220 hours played.
1-600 paragon can be done in few hours now if u join gr65 speedruns instantly =)
Wait a second...S4 started 21 days ago, you played a "casual" 220 hours, that makes a bit more than 10hrs a day, if I am not mistaken. How do you consider this to be casual in any way?
Anyway, farming paragons is easier than ever these days, of course much easier if you play a support char because they allow you to join much higher rifts than being a DPS char. Just focus on Greater Rifts
10h isn't even half the day! Casual for me and many in this game.
Yeah doing zdps monk is probably the easiest if u want fast lvls. With help from 3 others u are easy doing 60s after 2hours of installing the game. Wont rly hapen as dps specc

I have 110 hours and am over 720. just run gr's with a well geared party and you will be clearing paragon levels very quickly.
