I think some folks are over reacting. If you are joining public games to rift with people you need to be able to carry your weight especially in the early season. Its a gating method they want in place and i think it fits. What classes are going to be able to handle those torment tiers that early any ways?
I personally think the requirements are a little too low.
I think double them and we should be all set.
Now I am glad this restriction is good for PUBLIC games, because I have friends I play with that are "casuals" and still aren't even paragon 200 and I have no problem carrying them through on tougher games.
I like the idea, but I think it needs to be tweaked.
Being a casual seasons player, I may never get to see T10 under these limits.
Mind you, my chars are more than capable of handling T10, but I never had the desire to grind Plvls. I have found that it only take 200 or less Plvls to gear a character capable of speed T6 and/or grift 45.
Introducing a 400 level limit for T10 will really limit some players even if they are capable of handling the difficulties.

@Kamui_1337, you refer to leeching in a derogatory way yet state that T10 should only be available to P1400+ players. You have to be a leecher to attain this P level in the majority of cases, or worse, a cheat. I would much rather see solo GR progress (if any restrictions are applied) as an access point to T level. This comes from a current P750 player who has never used the xp exploit, with 3 characters attaining GR 50 clears.

yeah, my dumb ass posted and read afterwards
im good w/ it after reading the adjusted levels, and the fact that it only applies to pubs
I would like to make my own paragon minimum if i host my game and open it to public then lets say i want min p500 then it should be able to make that no ?

I see no problem with this, as long as you would first have to meet the requirements you're setting.

Well sure im p718 but lets say did they added and if someone maybe p200 sets a min p500 i dont really see how that would helped since he would bring the team down and nobody that high would want play with a lower player anyway...
But atleast if u are in need of high lvl players this would be only solution, nothing worse hosting and people under 500 paragon joins mostly and those that are like 800 and up rarely u see in public games as they play mostly private or with their clan mates.
My only problem with this change is that Paragon level does not equal gear. RNG = gear. This season I reached para 257 with my barb and still couldn't handle T3 because I just couldn't get anything to drop. I could go into a TX game, but i'd be useless because RNG just didn't work out. It is why I stopped playing this season because i was frustrating being stuck against such a stupid wall that literally only LUCK could fix.
I understand what you are saying for with Season 3 I was stuck for a long time because I couldn't get my set pieces to drop and once I did I went from T2 to T6 completions. Now I am not going to get upset yet because I think the Cube will be the answer to this problem for I did Season 4 without the buff on the PTR and it got me to the point I could do the higher difficulties much faster since I was rerolling pieces of my set.

Not sure if you know, but you can do T6 with crafted yellows... So no, you're not completely stuck behind RNG drops. Do rifts, bloodstones - kadala for targeted upgrades which help smooth out the "This item won't drop" problem.

I'm not sure what you were doing for 257 Paragon levels to not be geared enough for T6. I think most classes can do it with pretty well basic legendary gear as long as you have a decent build.
If it really was that bad, though, you should join publics until you find some cool people of your own class willing to trade items on some runs. Or ask in general for players for a full group of your own class. You can gear incredibly quick in this game if you're efficient and play with decent people.

That's basically the point of it though right? This paragon restriction would limit my ability to join up with other players on high T levels, for not only better item chance drops but also being able to group with players that might already have the gear im looking for and would be willing to toss aside their extra drops to gear my weaker ass up.
you guys need be more respectful of other players there should be no cap so another player has better expiriance then another cuz they dont wanna be botherd with newbies
Second, I'd like to suggest and discuss the removal of paragon requirement for torment difficulties.
Begin.
I'd like to discus them adding paragon level requirements to EVERY single torment difficulty in the game so leeching scumbags stop ruining public games and so people stop crying for power levels as if leveling in this game is hard.

Your join date is irrelevant. No one cares if you joined yesterday or 10 years ago as long as you have something interesting to say.
Regarding the plvl requirement, I'm totally ok with it.

not sure how this will help... i still see tons of p500+ that dont know how to play the damn game.
its a step in the right direction tho
