i was switching from my normal rogars stone condemn with ashearas for rolands sweep...i was doing really bad my cooldowns were terrible and i cudnt blind worth a shit compared to my 70cdr condemn build...we did really bad in a 60 in everyone was dying nonstop...so my question...how is rolands attack viable you need to spam gathering sweep? or should i stick to condemn? pull ahead and condemn everything forward the build seems really strange rotation 10x worse than nats..

I've never done a zpds version, but I run Roland's Sweep for my HC Crusader without even using a generator. He requires some additional gear to get him along, but have cleared Grift 41 in HC.
The idea I went with was to use Resource Cost Reduction in place of CDR in most slots.
Now, if you wanted to use sweep for ZPDS, I suppose you could use Final Witness shield and then make your adjustments from there, in regard to converting the idea to ZPDS. Either way, in order to spam Sweeps, you're gonna need Golden Flense. Of course, Laws of Valor/Unstoppable force.
What makes this build work is that every skill aside from Sweep and Provoke enjoy massive cooldown reduction from the Roland's set bonuses, making the need for additional CDR nominal. About 25% and I can keep my Sweep sustained. You're wanting to do really high grifts as a support, so you're really going to need to fill the RCR gap and probably shoot for higher CDR than I do, considering I'm staying in the low 40's in HC with this approach.
well i mainly run zdps and it seemed to be bad...i guess more rcr. either way if i did 67 or something id prolly stick to my normal condemn.it was my first try at 60 with rolands zpds.....much ppl said takes practice i guess...running a good rift for 65 is better do able for me i think.
Zdps rolands is the way to go but its more difficult to play. It allows for tighter grouped monsters and also allows the sader to be the one locking the rift guardian which frees up the wd for more buffs.
It's not required though, they're are groups that do 70+ with just the standard zdps sader and perma stun wd.
Ruksak - You dont need a Golden Flense for the zDPS variant at all. With enough RCR and CDR you can sweep to your hearts content. Obviously you cant spam it, but thats not what the builds about.
Using it "to your hearts content" would be defined as being able to spam it.

Not sure if any of this help, good luck.

i mean we missed a 60 by a little...but it just seemed like a terrible rift...zdps wd shud never die...i feel i can control a bit better on condemn.
