Ok, since the beginning i do not like the gem system. When clearing a high rift and you get 3 fails at 60% after clearing the GR for 15+ mins is annoying and frustrating for players. Why don't they implement XP to gems instead of RNG chance? Say when clearing a rift at a certain amount of time and depending which level GR you're clearing you get heaps about of XP. Fail it, you get some what small amount. The progression is always there hence you can keep going in higher rift levels. Just a simple thought.
I get the frustration, but it is also awesome when you get 3 upgrades at 60%. So much of D3 is RNG I think this fits. It could be improved, but for me it is low on the list of things for them to dedicate time to.
