To celebrate the start of Season 2, we'd like to take some time to discuss our philosophy behind Seasons in Diablo III, cover lessons we learned from Season 1, and share some of our plans for the future with you, our community. On Tuesday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. PST, we'll be chilling out in the Blizzard Studio to cover all these topics (and possibly more) as well as answer your questions live! Who can you expect to see on stream?
Well they said "there will be a short period of time between when a Season ends and the next begins", so I guess it may be that Season 1 will end on the 3rd and Season 2 start on the 10th. A week seems a little longer than people would be hoping, though.
The reason I bring it up is because of their wording; To celebrate the start of Season 2.If they hadn't of used the word start, or added 'the upcoming' then I'd be like meh no reason to flip out. But unless they are just using really bad wording, it sounds like they are starting the Twitch cast the day season 2 starts, to celebrate the start of season 2.
It sounds like you're all too hyped about the same game setting you know deep down that you're only going to play for a week at most. Move on, and it'll come out whenever.

More likely the Friday immediately after the patch, if they continue to launch Seasons on Friday, like S1. Otherwise, Tuesday.

Either 6th or 10th. I hope and would guess 6th (Friday same week as patch Tuesday), which is what happened Season 1 to give players the weekend to start grinding.

You can "celebrate" things before they happen, New Year, Christmas etc. So I wouldn't read too much into it.
That's.... my point exactly. Season 2 isn't out yet. to celebrate the start of season 2would mean that season 2 has started. Whens this celebration happening? Tuesday, Feb. 10th.
