I'll start playing with the new Sunwoku monk. It's a looooot of fun, played it quite a bit on PTR. Not even sure what kind of build I'm going for... probably just testing and see whatever works, maybe a TR build, or some CS spec if a barb is in group, or even SSS+Madstone for some EP action. Whatever. So many things to try out.
But first thing I need to wrap up my preparations tonight... put all materials in main stash, do a couple of more normal bounties to get past my 1k rift key fragment goals (I'm at 990) so I don't have to do any more bounties in 2.1.2 anytime soon, put all the DH gear away as I won't touch that class in quite some time... and then pull out all the monk gear such that I can switch between builds whenever I feel like. Oh, and run 5x T6rifts (or 2x 45+ rifts) to get 500 blood shards for gambling
Is there an option for EU players to play 2.1.2 today or tonight?
/edit, i found official info saying that it will be no earlier than 11:00 CET (Wednesday)
Until then you have plenty of time to farm some extra crafting mats, do something other than playing Diablo, or just get some rest. After 11:00 there will be no time for resting!
hi, for me i m in a long way farm on keywardens for ancient hellfire amu.
i want try 10 amus so 160 keys (40 each) and its boring cause i'm on t6 and the droprate is about 40/45% after maaaaany, the field and oasis are huge, so many times you must clear 80% of the map before find him.
BUT i'm could try 6 amus for now so its near to come ^^.
After i'll go farm some 300/400 rifts to loot plenty and with luck some ancient to replace my gear.
They're essentially normal legendary items with about 30% higher stats (only for non-percentage stats such as main stat, resistances, and so on; not critical hit damage, attack speed, ...). Legendary items have a 10% chance of being ancient.
crafting a few hundred devastators. Not sure T&T are all that with hydra, seems mammoth attacks pretty quick if you got AS from gloves paragon etc. Don't think the lava streaks stacks unless they are from multiple firewizs. Might be wrong. I run T&T atm with blazing, but on PTR, it just didn't seem that good.
I wonder what you are looking forward most in the new patch? What's the first thing you will do?
For me it's changing my wizard FB spec to Hydra build with TnT and see them lay waste with fire.
Sadly IAS still doesn't affect damage at all. Magefist or Firebird gloves to open a few other gear slots will still be best for damage wise. But for T6 let the fire of thos hydra's cover the whole ground!!
I'm gonna start playing my Monk! I just got an SWK helm, the last piece which completed my inna's/swk combo, for the first time just before maintenance and I got two consecutive with the 3rd and 2nd to the last gamble xD
I think it's T6 capable already so I got that going for me. (simultaneously farming mats / ancients)
Gungdo Gear will also be season-only (not sure if you're aware of that, isn't really clear from what you're saying). That being said - I played a lot of monk on PTR and it's hilarious. You don't need Gungdo Gear to have fun, enough other stuff to do.

Yeah blizzard made a mistake here. Mammoth Hydra does way more damage than blazing. The choice to choose from isn't even close anymore. Your correct about TnT, only time you would use it, is if you have a Furnace. Witch means you lose the second Hydra from not using a SS/OH and is less damage anyways. TnT is useless for FB wiz for High output damage and Grfits. But T6 it will be fun, no doubt!!

Good to know. Great thing that I haven't gambled my latest 5000 shards for a new pair without any luck *cough*
Craft some ancient Aughlid's and continue my never ending search for a bloody SMK. I was hoping to get one before 1000 doc hours and before the drop buff, just so I can say I did it. Probably take another 1000 with the friggin buff.

Figured if that EXP gem was out it'd be fun to create another new Seasonal character to play around with.
Yes, in Season 2 only. 3rd of Feb as earliest. Later on, when season 2 ends, they will be available for non season players.

Looking over the PTR notes the change to Gungdo gear makes me want to try and rebuild my Palm Monk from Non-season.
