Hi! I'm brand new to the game and can't quite decide on which to be, but its either of the two. Can someone help me out and tell me the pros and cons fo Crusader and Wizard?
Crusader imo. It has more end game builds/sets(Wiz actually only has 1 atm). Crusader gameplay with these sets is alot funner on the Crusader than the Wiz. The Wiz best set: Firebird is pretty boring. You basically drop Blizzard/Apocalypse and run and hide since the burning affect last forever.
crusader:
pros:
has 2 abilities that wont let this class die
deals high damage cause they can wear shields plus 2handers
1 main set to go after pretty easy to get with kadala
has many options of builds depending on what weapon / shield you find.
damage reduce from all attacks do to being a melee like class
cons:
always must reply on akkarats champion
must have at least around 54% cool down reduction to have akkarats always up
most builds use high resource spending attacks and if you dont figure a way out with your gear to balance this you can be resource hungry a lot
wizard:
pros:
ranged character so you dont have to be close in the fight
many attacks do damage over time to allow more kiteing
1 set to go after also pretty easy to get with kadala
cons:
will seem glass cannon like
only 1 build usable
almost no invincibly to crowd control effects but can teleport
so up to you, however note the wizard will be getting a new set sometime in the future.
not really glass cannon like: my experiance on T6 (p700) my wzard dont even de while monks and crusaders die . im not saying once in every rift, but more then i. but if you say that wizard is glass cannon, then dont forget passives: Blur, unstable annomaly , dominance. Also 4 piece firebird that resuercts.
my main is wiz always played it so these are my experiences. Also another set will come in 2.2 patch for wizies
Why i suggest is to play both class up to lvl 70 or try to gear them a bit to see which you prefer. Anymways you will maxyour chars in a few months anyways...
Play both characters and maybe even all 6 classes.
Also play some oddball builds that might only be able to do Hard difficulty but those builds were the most fun especially with only using magic or white gear. Not fun in Multiplayer though. The thing is you can play with any skill, Downside is farming for gold and items but playing the oddball characters were fun.
I prefer more playing DIII on the 360 offline since I hate game latency and lag.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
I am a ranged guy and built both a Wiz and DH play them most. Eventually I built a Sader since Blizzard changes builds often and I wanted some diversity to prevent the nerf hammer making my characters all useless.
With that said, if I were to start today it would be a Sader cuz they are easy to build and play. It is easy to make a Stampede or Condemn build and the items required aren't that hard to find. I found my Sader gear a LOT quicker than I did my Wiz gear. Just use Kadala and target the items you need.

Actually no. Crusader only has 2 sets, and one of them simply reduces the cooldown of one of your skills, compared with the 3 on Wizards side. Granted most saders build are based on weapon/shield, not particularly on sets. But this is also valid for all classes.
As for Wizard sets:
Tal Rasha can be used as a nice multiple elemental meteor build, Vyr is great for archon type of builds (especially combined with this: The Swami) and of course the all powerful Firebird.
As for which is most suited for you is a question you should not ask others. If you like melee or mid range type of characters, go crusader, but know they are slow and rely heavily on cooldowns (as in they are very high for most skills), and on the other hand you have an excellent range class that is very fun and easy to play but very squishy in endgame and less diverse in powerful builds but more diverse in less powerful fun ones.
From the builds perspective it draws down to how far do you want to push them, because if you want to challenge the top the wizard only has one build that can do so, the firebird one, but if you rather chill down on lesser Torments, at least at first, then wiz is your best choice. Again, think long and hard: melee/mid range or range/elemental/spells.
Granted, since you are a noob at this game, you won't get to experience the endgame until 2.1.2 and Season 2 rolls out. So I would read up on those changes and keep an eye out on what's happening on the PTR. Monks seem to cut in front of all other classes.
Actually yes the Wizard only has 1 endgame build the rest are garbage even for T6. The Crusader on the other hand has 3-4 good builds with 2 endgame(Endgame=G rift) builds. And the Wizards best set has the most boring gameplay(After Live Dh's) Drop down Blizzard and run away. B O R I N .
"work just fine" is a good way of saying you *can* struggle along on T6 in a good group In terms of cake-walking through T6 though, there really is only one top tier wiz build. Crusader has at least two (Condemn, Stampede) that can both faceroll T6 and they are very different play styles which is nice if you want to switch it up. Yeah, when it comes down to it, they are both just Akkarat's with lots of CDR, but the fact that you don't have to find an entirely new set to swap between the two is nice. Also, permanent horsey is amazing for bounties and key hunting. I can do A1 bounty sets in less than ten mins.
you're right, Condemn is only really good on season, but if you're starting a new guy, then you might as well start season. You have access to more items and it's all going to roll over to non-season in a month anyway.
PS, I didn't say crusaders were better, but I do think they are more fun, and I've spent a LOT of time playing both. Obviously that's subjective and I won't get into a semantics argument with you
