sorry for necro, but I just came back from a long break and I just found the proper topic for my issue.
So it's somewhat confusing to me, as there are two types of item bonus experience, one is
Increases Bonus Experience by X%
for example Leoric or Hellfire signets
and the other is
Monster kill grants +X experience.
As Blizzard spoke only about "bonus experiece share" in general in their blue posts, I still don't know if the second type of bonus exp is also has a share from Follower. The first type changes the bonus XP on my character panel correctly but if I use any ring/neck with the 2nd type it not changes anything at all.
Also wonder what " +X experience" means because in my understanding it gives a plain X point bonus, and not X% -- and in that case, using an item with a "Monster kill grants +12 experience" affix for MP runs where millions of XP matters is clearly irrelevant.
I always thought the fixed amount from follower would be beneficial for you as well, but if it doesn't reflect so in the stats, this seems to not be the case.
And yeah, the fixed values (as opposed to the percentage XP) is only relevant for lower levels pre-60. Especially on the first 25 levels (normal) it makes a difference, as can be seen in power leveling.
As soon as you hit 60 and play Inferno, it's useless. It's probably also why it doesn't even roll on 60.

Am I right on these concerns?
