Since you feel the need to become a scapegoat for Jay, then I feel it necessary to open a thread specifically dedicated to you. If its blame you want, then it's blame you will get. What exactly caused you to take this game in a direction that was SO vastly different then what the Diablo community asked for and expected? When the news broke over youtube that D3 was indeed in the works and details first emerged I was extremely excited with what I saw and I'm sure others were too. I was even fortunate enough to be invited to the Closed Beta of D3, which gave me tremendous hope that my input along with the rest of the beta community could have influenced some of the content and point developers in the right direction. It didnt. Ya'll took our feedback and ran as fast and far in the opposite direction as you could have. Why? Maybe you're upset with how Jay is taking the brunt of all of this, but had any of you listened to the core Diablo fans none of this would have come about and D3 would be where we all want it to be.
I can get into specifics of how to improve (save) this game but I'm not going to. To become another one of the IGNORED threads goes against my better judgement. I, like many others have already offered my support and help only to get shunned by the "blue team" and also the...well I guess u call them "wowaiblos." I get it. But apparently you dont.
In closing I will say this: You reap what you sew. There is a chance YOU CAN save this game. Please put your ego and pride down for a minute and listen to the community. Otherwise I expect the community will be happy with your resignation also.
Sincerely, Someone with 10+ years supporting / playing / paying for your games *if u care.

First of all: these are not the official forums, and while it seems that from time to time some Blizzard employee reads DiabloFans, I'm quite sure (due to their limited time available) game directors or other important persons won't read here.
Blizzard listens to the community, they do so very well, and even though the game director doesn't take the time to write a personal email back to you every 5 minutes, rest assured that they will not simply dismiss user feedback, in particular from closed beta tests. Therefore, the way you express your thoughts turns a nice idea of a thread (utter constructive criticism) into a rant post with an extremely bitter tone.
Furthermore, how can you say that Blizzard dismisses all user feedback and runs into the opposite direction? That is, to say the least, ignorant and just plain stupid. If you have followed the forums (both DFans and the official one) in recent months, you must have realized that many changes being made, especially in 1.07, are almost a 1:1 carbon copy of the suggestions made by players.
The one change you WON'T see, and the one suggestions Blizzard doesn't want to give in, is turning this into Diablo 2.1. Blizzard has always been a company who tries to invent something new. It takes them time, they're slow, but they will try to come up with new solutions for problems rather than recycling of existing concepts. If you don't like that, I'm deeply sorry. As much as I'm a fan of sequels, I like new designs and revolutionary ideas, and I'm willing to come up with the patience necessary for that. If you don't have that patience, at least try with constructive criticism.
1) This isnt a Blizzard forum so your thread is as useless as it is pointless
2) If you don't like D3, stop acting like a baby, stop throwing your toys out of your pram and go play something else.. hey, even D2 as it seems to be the pinnacle of gaming that will never be topped to children like you.
This game wasn't made for you. Sorry to break it to you, the world doesnt revolve around you either. Twat.
1) I can no longer post on blizz forums unfortunately
2) I do like D3 (logged 750 plus hours-and still intend on playing ...at least a little while longer now that Blizz is making some internal changes ***finger crossed***) and feel like my opinion counts greater than someone who resorts to name calling acting like a 9yr old. Be constructive here and the blizz forum if you can.
3) Only bump or comment this thread if your agree or disagree with CONSTRUCTIVE comments / criticism . No kids allowed ...remember this is a Mature game 17+ only please.

I dont want a Diablo 2.1 . Let's get that straight right now. That being said. You dont make a sequel to something successful and leave out 90% of what made the reason for the sequel. (itemization being one of many many examples) - And like I said b4 above there is no point in getting into the details unless Rob responds which apparently a few of you already have pointed out.

I think it would be best to keep it all in one place. No need to clutter the forums.
