I don't normally post about stuff but I don't see this monster level junk as a good thing for the game in its current set up. Maybe I am looking into this wrong but it seems that all the people that exploited early or found that great item that sold for crazy money once again will be getting more gold and more items. I thought this monster level thing was for people that wanted more of a challenge they could up the level for them to have more fun as that's what they wanted. Now they get more MF and more affixes on the gear they fined so once again as I see it say I farm level 5 I keep getting items that have low affixes like I get now and the guy that has gear doing level 8-10 gets all the best affixes.
This seems to me just another way for the top players that play 16 hours a day to get the best item and sell them on the RMAH. Now I understand its a game blizz needs to make money but the people that want to have good gear and cant play that much will never have really super good gear. Now I do have 600+ hours played but alot of that was early on and I wasted alot of it leveling friends and that was stupid if I wanted to keep up should have got to act 3 fast so I could have made alot of gold early my fault but this just rewards all the top players and the little guys will still have to buy millions of gold to buy good items.
So am I reading into this to much and am 100% off base on what I am thinking or does this seem how this is going down to you guys.

How many time do people need to say this, Monster power level does not increase affixes in any way. It gives you magic find to find more items, but the mobs take much, much more time to kill. What affect the item affix is now monster level. Meaning every item from lvl 58-63 will have lvl 63 affix when you kill a lvl 63 monster. Meaning much greater chance at good gear. LVL 63 affix can still roll like crap and they will still roll like crap at mlvl 10 at the same rate. It gives you more loot, if you are geared enough to roll MLVL10 elites in 30 seconds or lvl 1 elite in 2 second, youll use lvl 10 for the huge boost in MF. At least this is the intent, get more items, not better items.
Sorry early in morning was just thinking this morning and did not even think of the fact they could farm it 5x faster did not even cross my mind. I dont know like I said maybe I am reading into it to much just they way I seen it and was annoyed by it.
(Affixes on items will now roll their level based on the level of the monster killed (rather than the item’s level)
Maybe people are reading this wrong and I was to was thinking it was on monster level 1-10 and maybe it seems monster I LVL but its does say rather then I LVL so I don't know.
He prolly means that by more MF you get more affixes, which is true.
You get more affix depandant on how many items dropped and rolled off the table. The maximum is 6, there is nothing making those 6 affix roll good or previously forced these affix to be ilvl 63 other then on a ilvl 63 item. The quality of the loot of those 6 affix is completely random and unaffected by Monster power level. Again you will find the same quality of loot from MLVL 1 or MLVL 10. You will just find more loot at MLVL 10, but the trade of is that MLVL 10 elites have hundread of millions of HP and bosses like diablo have over 200 million hp. Even for uber geared characters this is currently a poor trade off for the ammount of magic find given.
Ok like I said early in the morning just went over the notes and put to much thought into it I'm sure. Thanks for clearing that up RED.
I thought that it would also say a item could roll 300 on something it had a higher chance of rolling that 300 in monster level 10 for say. That's why I was kinda up in arms I felt like they where just going to give all the high rolled stuff when it does drop to the high level killing guys.

Yes its affected by the monster lvl, not the new power level system. Every single boss and elite in inferno is lvl 63. That means every piece of gear dropped by these from lvl 58-63 will have the best possible affix in the game (which can still roll like crap 99.9% of the time as seen by every item lvl 63 rolling like crap you ever looted!). But since majority of the loot is never ilvl63, thats a pretty big boost to the possibility to find quality loot in your drops. This is a boost to everyone loot, independant of Power Level system.
This is quite literally a communism type view: everyone should have equal power and wealth. Well this isn't how games work nor how the real world works. Yes the rich get richer, but it's the mindset that it's because OTHERS are rich that you can't get rich that is wrong. Quit feeling like a victim because you aren't handed anything. Instead you should work harder, and you will have more.
The assertion that people are rich in game because of early on exploits is false. They may have made a couple million gold but that's almost worthless nowadays.
In the end the person that puts in more time and work that will win. Stop having the loser victimized attitude and work harder if you really want it.

I said it was my fault for not rushing to act 3 inferno so its not a communism type of view but why are we bring politics into this. You and I both know that if you had gold early to get good gear faster it has gotten you better gear now but I dont care about that. I could have exploited early with my wiz but I help other people level. I just did not want to see people that had crazy gear getting crazy better rng chances and I see there not really other then a little more MF that maybe will help.
Inferno play is currently about the strategic decision of where to hunt based on drop chances vs. personal killing power.
For well-geared people, at the moment this seems to be a no-brainer: Act 3. For less powerful people like myself, it's a decision to be made. I can kill things in Act 3, but I'm slow, and I die quite a bit, wasting time and money. I can probably get more rolls on the loot lottery (i.e. ilvl 63 rares to ID) in Act 2 due to greater killing speed.
But anyway, that's the strategic decision. This Monster Level feature is supposed to add more granularity to that decision: now there can be 10 choices of difficulty/loot quality, instead of really only 3 (Act 4 seems to be so out of favour as to not count, not sure why since I'm not there myself).
Victim mentality only holds you back by giving yourself an excuse to be and stay behind the curve. How anyone is unable to farm act 3 at this stage in the game is beyond me. Look up some youtube vids of people spending less than 5 mil, hell in some cases 1 mil, and having no problems clearing act 3.
I also used to look at those 16 hour a day guys and get jealous/feel sorry for myself, but then I realized all that time I spent watching their stream and throwing myself a pitty party could be used farming. Only then did I start getting to where I am now.
Where is everyone getting this idea from? I have been under the impression that elite level is based solely on the normal mob levels in the Act, so Act 1 elites are 61, Act 2 are 62, and Act 3/4 elites are 63.

I don't want to work more than 2 hours a day, so you're obliged to sell me that Ferrari for only 3% of its original price. Thanks
